Very well finished. Amazon was great handling the first two deliveries, that arrived broken at my home. It is so good that I bought a second one!

It wasn't that hard to put together. It comes in 2 boxes. The doors are in a separate box. The bookcase looks good. Sturdy.

I purchased this particular shelf because I needed the doors. They were not included in the box. The cardboard for the backing seems very weak and the doesn't feel sturdy when moving it.

This is my 5th BBF addition to my office and like the previous four the bookcase is tops for quality when it comes to DIY furniture. Yes, you pay more for this line, but the quality is worth it. My only quibble concerns the assembly instructions. Like so many other DIY furniture manufacturers, they use the Marcel Marceau method, i.e. no words, just pictures. Really, Bush - you can't spring for a few translators? How hard is it to say "insert shelf pins into side units B and C" in Spanish? So as a consequence, I ended up putting the back panel on the wrong side and made a very big problem when it came to the lower cabinet hinge placement. So for all the rest of you: Do not do step 7, nailing the back panel, until you have completed hanging the doors. Which leads me to my other complaint: The back panel is a disappointingly poor quality paper veneer. Bush - you can do better. It is a total mismatch with the rest of the quality. For that, you lose a star.

easy assembly, minimal skills will have no trouble with this one. You may need a second hand once its assembled, its a sturdy piece.

If i wanted Ikea quality i wouldn't have paid 3 times more for it. This is a terrible bookshelf. the particle board is awful and the back of it is folded. Don't buy this, if you want bad quality stick with Ikea. I am returning this asap. I should have realized that it was no good when it hasn't had a good review in over 3 years.

The bookcase is assembled with heavier thickness particle board. The shelves should be sturdy enough to hold all my books. The door hardware is good and door handles decent quality. That said, the instructions for assembly could be better, and the various parts and sections labeled better indicating "front", and "back" , left side, right side, etc. I have put together a lot of assemble yourself furniture, and the pictures in the directions don't make very clear how to orient the parts to each other. So take a lot of time looking over the diagrams, carefully analyse the hole arrangement, and you won't have to assemble it once and then take it apart and reassemble it again cause the parts were in the wrong orientation to put on the doors like me. One rather annoying negative- the back panel that connects the whole thing and stabilizes the whole thing is made of cheap fiberboard/cardboard, and has noticable folds that look cheap, and remain after assembly, because it is folded up to fit in the shipping box. A nicer backing would be in order for the price, and I may have to go purchase a thin panel sheet at Home Depot and replace the panel that came with the bookcase.

Perfect addition to my office. I bought two and they look and are very useful.
