The works is the best toilet bowl cleaner I've ever used.

I am a " The Works" big big fab. I have not been able to find it at the store anymore, so, I tried this. I have to say, it is definitely not as strong as I use to get. Doesn't even move the rust stains in toilet. A lot thinner less effective product is what I received. Why did this change. I have used for many Many years and loved it! Not so much amymore.

We had a toilet that was full of calcium and we were going to put a new toilet in and we had a water leak and we had another company come and look where the water was and he happened to look at the toilet and said the toilet was worth more than the new and he said he could it and look like a new toilet so we had him clean it and he said use the works cleaner every 2-3 weeks and we have been using it and everything is still clean.Thanks Pete

NOTE: Let me preface what I am about to say with the fact that these two Work Toilet Bowl Cleaners might be different formulas. If they are, I DO NOT recommend The Works Classic Clean Toilet Bowl Cleaner.I have used the Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner for years to clean not only my toilets, but also my bathtub. This recent purchase was a huge disappointment. The product didn't work. I applied it like I normally do, letting it set for 1-2 minutes before I scrub the saturated areas, but did not have the same results I have for the last many years. I bought this product from Amazon because our local store did not have any in stock, so I figured why not give an online retailer a try. The package arrived in an oversized USPS First Class box. The internal packaging was two paper towels loosely wrapped around two of the six bottles. One bottle leaked a little, perhaps from all the bouncing around, but the others were intact because they had tape around the nozzle.Back to the cleaning ability of this product. I tried another bottle from the shipment hoping for different results. The same issue persisted. Now, fast-forward one month later. I found the Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner at my local store and decided to give it a try. You know what? It worked just like I remembered! I then decided to compare both solutions side-by-side and see if there were any differences. At first glance you can see an obvious color difference between the two. Also, the scents are the same, but the fragrance one from Amazon was muted in comparison to the one from the store. In addition, I typically clean with gloves and the occasional solution gets on my skin and stings a little. That was not the case with this product.Overall, I would NOT recommend the purchase of The Works Classic Clean Toilet Bowl Cleaner to anyone.

doesnt remove the light water stain ring. I had to buy an abrasive scrubber.

The product arrived with one bottle totally emptied onto the entire order. I had toilet bowl cleaner liquid all over and dripping everywhere. Also, someone's name unknown to me, was on my order with my address. Not happy. I had to clean every bottle. But I will reorder this product again, however whomever packaged it needs to evaluated for prpoer shipping. thank you

I have ALWAYS used "The Works" and have bought it in the local store. Unfortunately, the local store stopped carrying it so I went online to order. I purchased 6 that had the same name as the one I bought in the store. I was SO EXCITED when they arrived! (I know this sounds funny, but this is the ONLY cleaner I use on my toilets and my shower stall. It has consistently been amazing at removing rust.) The bottles looked different, but I was undeterred and assumed they had just changed the look of the label. I opened the first bottle and went to work on my shower stall. Imagine my surprise when NONE of the rust came off. NONE. I was astounded. I had waited so long for THIS SPECIFIC CLEANER just to have it fail. I have no idea what to do with all these bottles of cleaner. They don't work on the tub and they don't work on my toilet. I'm sure they work for other toilets that just need sanitizing. I NEED a rust remover.Anyway, I hope this is helpful. I wish I could just send them back and get my money back.On a side note... When they arrived, the bottles were taped shut and taped together. This was fortunate because the box was too large and the bottles bounced around a bit.

This is not as good as it used to be, does not clean the toilet bowl like it did years ago
