Green Glow in the Dark & UV Powder; 100-150 Microns (1 OZ)

I didn’t use this product the way it was intended, so I can’t speak to how it does as a paint. I bought cheap, plastic skeletons on Dollar Tree and wanted to make them glow in the dark so I could hang them outside and be spoooooky. I tried glow in the dark spray paint first and that failed, so I decided to try this powder. I sprayed a gloss sealer (like clear spray paint) to get a sticky base. And then poured some powder in my hand and sprinkled it over the top. I did 3 coats this way, letting each dry and wrapped up with a “finishing coat” of the spray to lock everything down. I think they look great - and the fact that it’s not uniform adds to the vibe!

This stuff is super bright and only takes seconds of light exposure to charge. The seller even includes mixing instructions for adding the powder medium to a fluid mix. My phone doesn't do it justice, in reality the color is a warmer green, more like the posted ad. I am super impressed and will be a repeat customer in the future!!

I add this to the boat epoxy I use to seal my oil paintings for special effects. Works as described.Make sure you mix it in really well. It does have a tenancy to glob in areas if you don't mix really, really well. Sometimes it does so creating pretty cool effects; however, if you're looking for a perfectly smooth application where the color illuminates consistently you'll want to mix it with a mechanical mixer such as a paddle attached to a drill on low speed.Many applications and it suspends nicely in the sealer I use. The density of the sealer could have an effect.It can also be sprinkled on and sealed over for various effects. Get creative!

Outperform other commercial products (such as phosphorescent tape). One needs to optimize the thickness and concentration of pigment versus matrix (such as epoxy resin) to achieve best performance. I'm thinking 'one-to one by weight pigment to resin, 1 mm thick'.

Very bright glow for the first 5minutes(even under lights you can easily see the glow), then slowly settles into a subtle glow that'll last all night.
