Private Pilot Oral Exam Guide: The comprehensive guide to prepare you for the FAA checkride (Oral Exam Guide Series) Paperback – October 15, 2020

This text is designed to identify Private Pilot applicant knowledge gaps on the oral exam portion of the practical test examination. It is not a textbook like FAA publications available for free on the .gov website or third party publishers. However, it is a great method to prepare for the oral. If you don’t know an answer then go dig through your training resources to learn / review the material. Have used these for multiple certificates and ratings. They work if you use them the way they are intended.

I’m giving this a 5 star review because the study material is amazing, although the book could’ve been put together better. The first 3 pages fell out less than a week after I bought it, they weren’t glued in hardly at all. The book is a perfect study guide, but it should be made better.

I was super excited to see this book on Amazon, and it arrived early! This book is extremely useful to those who are training for their private pilot's license, and the questions in here are going to be extremely similar to those that are asked by a DP during a real checkride. Covers more than enough categories to prepare any student for the FAA checkride, highly reccomend!

I have been a cfi for 2 years now. I request that all students buy this book. I especially like that it provides the reference, as to where to find the information using faa resources.The book also goes in order of the ACS which is nice.

This book covers a lot of things that could come up on the PP Checkride. It was recommended by my CFI and I'm glad I got it. I was reading it out in public and a guy walked over who turned out to be a captain for American Airlines...so it seems to be pretty be widely used.

Some of the questions may seem to have a lot of information. It may be daunting to study these questions but this book truly prepares you very well. I studied with this and I nailed every question on my checkride. This book prepares you well.
