Worked well for one day till dog chewed it off
Well, it was very difficult to put on my squirming dog. She's a good dog but if she moved at all it would make the loops twist and it was confusing. I would highly suggest that the maker put Letters on the harness with embroidery so that the directions were easier to follow. Then, I finally got it on my pitt bull and it worked !! The dog, an American Pittbull, did not jump the dog run fence all day long. HOwever, when I came home, the harness was hanging off her as she had chewed it off. URGH!Not sure that buying another would be a good idea at this point. The directions recommended an anti chew spray which I did NOT use. I may buy another and try again.

I don't recommend this
Lousy instructions, terrible product. The dog was able to chew it and it did not stay attached as it was cheaply made. I went to petsmart's training classes instead.

poor directions
This product is almost impossible to figure out. The directions are inadequate, it seems flimsy, and I doubt it could keep a big strong dog from jumping a fence. I could not achieve a snug fit with it.

Its a great training harness
These harnesses are meant as a training tool , not for keeping on your dog at all times they are out. LOL . I laughed at all the reviews its pretty fun and odd. These harnesses work great for training your dog not to jump up on people. They do not work to prevent your dog from jumping fences or to leave it on your dog.

Great concept. Works but canNOT leave it on the dog
I read the other reviews on the Guardian Gear No-Jump Dog Harnessby Guardian and saw where people were complaining about them being chewed off, so I also bought a bottle of no chew spray. The spray was worthless on the harness. If you aren't around to reapply the spray every 30 minutes to an hour, there is no need to even use the no chew spray since it just evaporates. Our dog is jumping our 5 foot fence with NO problem. I didn't have a problem getting the harness on her and getting it on correctly every time, but my husband never could figure it out. My dog learned to stand decently still while I put it on because she knew she was getting to go outside and run and play versus being tethered outside on a cable just to use the bathroom. She walked and ran funny at first but she soon got used to the harness and did not get out of the fence. The problem came when I left her outside too long and she laid down to rest. The leg straps slipped down her legs and she got out of it. Luckily she came into the house instead of getting loose. Next was that I left it on her when she came in so I didn't have to fight her to get it on and off (the first day). She and her sister chewed through a strap. I sewed it back on. Then she got it off a cabinet and she chewed through a clip. I replaced the clip. She chewed through another strap, sewed it back, and lastly through 3 clips. Now I don't have enough extra strap to repair it since she has grown and chewed through it in the same place a few times. I am buying another one today and going to sew the straps in place so there are no loose ends to tempt her and it is going to be stored inside a cabinet so she can't get to it when she doesn't wear it. I REALLY wish some company made one of these in leather. Now that I know that it works on her, I would gladly pay good money for one I knew would hold up to a 1.5 year old puppy.

Dog Trap
I really should have listened to the other reviews, but I thought, "Hey, my dog's aren't like those dogs." Really though, my dogs are pretty easy when it comes to me working with them. But even I went cross eyed a few times trying to get the harness on the dogs. Once I got the harness on the larger dog, my wife and I just started cracking up. I mean, we might as well have duct taped the dogs paws together. However, it did work as advertised, No Jumping! But, not much walking either. If I wanted my dog to just stand there afraid to move, I would have been better off putting her in a crate...lol. Shortly after, we were pretty quick to look up how to return the item. Sorry, it's just really not a great product.
