Drive Medical Ventura 4 Wheel DLX Scooter Includes 5 Year Protection Plan (20" Captain’s Seat)

I ordered this mobility scooter (Drive Medical Ventura 4 Wheel DLX) for my brother. He only needs it temporarily until he gets strength back in his legs, but this scooter has given him hope and a safe, convenient way to get around. His home is on our church property and he takes the scooter down a long dirt/gravel drive to come to church. It's quite a distance and he has no issues.The scooter of course rides great inside, but he sure has given it the test to drive it outside that distance. It's a smooth ride with the bigger wheels, and it actually goes pretty fast too. He likes to give the speed a test once he gets on the paved parking lot :-). Plus, the battery really lasts a long time.Another great feature is the seat that swivels to the side so he can be lifted into the scooter and then swiveled back and locked into position. The hand levers that cause the scooter to go forward and backwards are so easy to use and so conveniently positioned. This scooter has many extra features as well, like: height adjustable seat, break lights, a head light, a basket, a horn, side mirrors and more. This scooter is top-of-the-line and beautiful. It's very well made with plenty of room to get someone on it and a bigger seat if necessary. We got the bigger seat and it’s perfect.Something else that was a great about this scooter. My husband and I put it together in probably 20 minutes. It was very easy and most of the work is already done for you.And finally, I want to say how awesome the customer service was with the seller (Vidacura/Living Well Stores) and the maker of the scooter (Drive Medical). I had to call them in the beginning because we couldn’t get the scooter to move. It would start, but not move. It ended up being a very easy fix (one of the cables wasn’t plugged in all the way - probably our fault), but both the seller and the maker were willing to do whatever it took to get it fixed or replaced. They walked me thru step by step tests on the phone to narrow down the issue. And, the biggy for me … they were very professional, very polite and very caring!

Bought mine in July 2016 and it's still going strong. We had one electric issue, but the seller sent a technician to our home and fixed it at no cost.

Batteries don't last, but otherwise good, sturdy scooter.

The best investment I ever made is buying this scooter. I love it. I can now go places where I never could before. I highly recommend this scooter to anyone looking to get one. And you cannot forget about the 5 year guarantee. It even looks nice.
