The entire gun properly field striped can be cleaned this way except the inside of your gun barrel just use the hoppes 9 with patches on it inside and out a little shot of the one shot cleaner lubricant on the outside of the gun barrel will not hurt your gun will be ready to go back together and have the proper lubricant be nice and clean and ready to shoot again without failure due to a improperly cleaned or lubed gun.

I use this stuff to remove the residue from Shooter's Choice lead remover on my .22 snubbie, where the lead build-up is an every-time kind of thing. The gloppy, lead-filled, crud that coats the barrel and cylinder and frame is considerable after a good workout with the lead remover. This Quick Scrub III blows it away right away––just zaps it off. I wipe down the various parts after the spray application and I'm back to a clean gun (unless I missed some lead). Very good stuff, this. I'm on my first can now, and have every intention of using this product on into the future.
