Love this product! Bought it a few years back pre-pandemic. It is perfect for travel. Folds so small, to put into our carry-on pocket. Multiple times it saved us when full sized checked boosters did not arrive in time for 4-5 yo, we could use it to get to the hotel. Now that kids are a bit older, we use the product on its own, not just as a fall back. The device makes the seatbelt appropriate height and safe for the child.So glad they are back in stock post pandemic now: recommended to several families.

I saw the designer give a presentation for this seat at a Child Passenger Safety Conference and decided to give it a try. I bought one as a test seat for our 2 children who still need seatbelt adjustment. Our intention was to buy another if it worked for both kids as we have a smaller back seat and the space saving design was a huge bonus for us and their older brother who has been cramped by several booster seat trials. We have 2 very different sized children: a wirey boy, age 10, 4'4", 65 lbs; and a tough as bricks girl, age 6, 3'4”, 70 lbsWhat we determined:This is a great seat for my small framed 10 year old. He loves that he is not in a little kid booster seat and I love that he is being protected. He also loves that he has more padding in the seat than his previous booster seat. Long rides were always a struggle as he begged to stop frequently to get a break from his previous seat.However, our 6 year old, who is built differently, weighing more and with a wider hips, hated this seat. She complained that the plastic, adjustable sides pinched her and she really struggled with getting the seatbelt threaded correctly.Overall, we are pleased with the purchase and will continue to use the Mifold for our son as long as we can.

We bought this for a trip to a location that did not have mass transportation from the airport. It was small and easy to pack and easy to I still, but our kiddo was just a bit too small and her sizr made me uncomfortable, so we lugged the big convertible car seat for a 15 minute ride. When my kiddo is taller and heavier. We will reconsider for trips where we do not have our own transportation.

We use these as full time booster seats for my 6.5 and 4 year old. I love that they have added more cushion. I have never used any other booster seats for my kids. I love the portability and ease of installation. Both my kids and buckle themselves in and unbundled with ease. I love that I can throw it in a bag and send it with them if they're going to another vehicle and not have to carry around a bulky or heavy booster. I also love how it brings the best to the correct place not raising my child to get them to a height where the seat belt would not injure them. I have bought 6 of these. I have 2 in each of our vehicles and bought a set for my sitter. I can not say enough how great a product these boosters are.

The compact design is great but it slid all over the place my son got frustrated with it cause it was too hard to try and sit down and hold it down at the same time. I really liked the fact that the should strap could be positioned at the right height for the child. Sadly I had to return because it was more of a nuisance.

Great for short rides not long rides. We got these since we would be flying and needed booster seats once we got to our destination. I didnt want to lug around big bulky seats through the airport. These folded up amazingly and fit perfectly in our kids backpacks for their carry on. The downside they're not very comfortable for a long ride. The base seat is really small. The sides adjust out so your child can fit but your kids bottom is hanging over the side making it not very comfortable at all. We went with the thicker one than the original but it wasn't that much more cushion. Our friend had purchased the cheaper original one while we paid a little more for the extra cushion as our kids were going to be in these seats for hours upon hours. Ours only had a little more cushion not enough to make a big difference. We used ours for the whole trip and have thrown one in the closet as a just in case we need it thing and one in a grandparents trunk so they'll have in an emergency. Our friend however opted to just buy a cheap booster during our vacation and then left it with the rental when done. Her child was not going to make it through the entire trip with it.Looking at things now I would have probably of opted for buying a booster once there and leaving it. Costs would have been more buying a booster while on vacation just to leave unless we shipped home but sanity would have been saved from hearing the constant complaints from the kids.

I just love this thing so much! It takes up WAY less space than a traditional booster seat and works awesome. I am now able to put my oldest child in between an infant and regular car seat in the back of our Jetta and he fits!You just have to be sure your child is able (more like willing) to stay put on the seat since it is easier to move around than a traditional bulky booster.It fits perfect in my diaper bag, so when we are traveling with friends or family it's easy to take a long.I HIGHLY recommend this awesome booster!

We booked a las vegas trip and I was so worried about no car seats in taxi's that I had to look for something. Voila! The mifolds... I have a 3 and 5 year old who are both still in car seats. But because taxi's don't require car seats (and I am not lugging my two Clek's back and forth and installing it in the taxi), these were perfect for our trip. We literally took them out everyday and put them under the stroller in case we needed a taxi. They were super compact to even fit in a backpack. We will now use these as spare boosters for any kids who wants to hope in our vehicle, or on vacation. Only con is that it's not as padded so it's not super comfy. Very good for short trips though!
