Q: is it worth any money

Yes if quality is important to you, and a 25 year old balsamic is on your list, this is one of the best I've found. Use it on cheeses, deserts, fruits, Caprice salad, and on any dish you use small amounts of balsamic to add depth. I have found a cheaper brand that isn't 25 years old, but has similar depth I call it "The Tubac" www.tubacoliveoil.com , 520-398-3366 ask for Rose, this is a wholesale company with high quality products "Traditional Style Dark" balsamic vinegar, I found this to be an acceptable alternative to 25 year old balsamic...I use a lot of it and enjoy it, and it's about $20 for a 12oz.bottle. They have other high quality vinegar and oil products available as well.
