This little music maker came extremely well packed and is very well made. The sound is not as loud as in the video, but I didn't expect it to be. For it's size, it is quite loud and VERY pleasing to the ear,- as all the ads say,- almost ethereal! I received it yester-noon, and played about with it on and off; this morning, I've just picked it up and already, I'm 'getting into it' quite well. I play guitar and VERY limited keyboard, which whilst not being anything like the Kalimba, does mean that I have a good ear for music and I'm sure I'll be romping away with my latest,- 'take anywhere' music maker! Though made in China,- (which quite honestly usually puts me off,) it ,and even the thick cardboard box that it comes in are top quality, and I can genuinely recommend this little gem! There are endless tutorials on line to help you get you going.

Was very surprised at how great this sounds, given how little I spent on it. Would be a lovely gift as it comes with some nice accessories; a bag to keep it in, some 'thumb guards' a book with some simple tunes, and a tuning hammer. Such fantastic value. As I said, the sound is lovely, very relaxing and resonant. Top marks!! :)

This is a Christmas present so I am yet to see how the recipient gets on with it but it is a beautiful little instrument and was an excellent price for a beginner. It is boxed and presented really well and even if it isn’t played often it’s very attractive just to put on display.

The quality is surprisingly good and the Kalimba is definitely good value for money. It looks pretty and is easy to hold in the hands . The sound seems amazingly rich for the price of the instrument, however one star has been subtracted for the bad sound of the three highest notes despite tuning and adjusting as some other reviewers also described.

Good materials, beautiful sound and it comes with a small hammer to set the keys back in place as well as a thumb protector. A great purchase!

I considered ordering a cheaper version of this, but after doing some research,found this make to be highly recommended. It's a present for a friend's birthday. Wanted something different. Love it so much I'm planning to buy one for myself.
