So, I've only had this mat for a short while, but wow...what a great practice experience. The turf is dense and pretty daggone realistic. Your club will grab on heavy shots without sustaining any green plastic scuff on the sole like you get with the cheapy mats. Seller delivered ahead of schedule, so no complaints there. The only gripe I have is that the edges are not finished in any way and there's a bit of fray around the edges....think of a piece of cut carpet. Time will tell how well the mat holds up...I'm considering using a propane torch to melt the edge down to prevent further fraying. All in all, a really nice surface to hit from in either your garage or out in the yard.

My only complaint with the mat is that there's no real sturdy base on the bottom. To remedy this I went to Home Depot and had them cut me a piece of 3x5 plywood. It's now perfect for chipping to my indoor putting green.The mat has a really good shag to it. I was pretty particular with what I wanted and this fits the bill perfectly. Highly recommend.

I would have given this mat 5 stars, for the price it is very durable and doesn’t slip. But I took a star away since it did not come with the tray that was supposed to be included. I emailed them but have not heard any response. Will update if they send the tray. It also did not include the rubber tee’s that are shown in the picture. And there is no hole for a rubber tee.

So far this mat has worked perfectly. The size is a bit smaller, maybe a 5"x5" will be better to have more room, but it works well. Being able to use normal tees is a plus. Will update after more use.

This is a great product. Not like real turf, but definitely better than cheap mats, and you can hit under the ball. The one warning I would give is that if you are intending to use this as with a simulator, I would get at least a 4x5. While the 3' is big enough for all clubs, with the simulator you need to move your body position forward and backwards on the mat as the hitting dot stays constant. I end up sliding the simulator based on the club I'm hitting.

For the price, it’s disappointing that after a few uses you can see your swing pattern in the mat.

More than I wanted to spend on a golf mat but looking to keep ourselves busy at home these days. My husband says it’s worth every penny!!! He loves it and we have this set up for now along with a net just outside the house. We sneak out for a few minutes at a time/lunch breaks etc to work on our swing-but could truthfully hit off this mat for hours. Great quality-tees and ball tray are shipped separately-haven’t received them yet but looking forward to using them.

Great!! This mat is not too hard like other driving mats where it vibrates your hands. It also allows you to hit down and through the ball. The size is perfect for using all clubs. It’s easy to move and keep clean. The dogs also love to lay on it and scratch their backs without hurting the mat.
