The Brownstone

This book addresses the need for folks to figure out and overcome their differences and it does so beautifully. Yes, it's an oldie, but it's a goody! I miss the days of living in a tenement with lots of other families. This book reminded me of how much fun that was.

When the grandson I read to regularly ends a book and says, "Read it again," I know we have a winner. This one was requested over and over, so became a gift for his permanent bookshelf. Charming story that never fails to delight.

Read this charming book to my 6 year old and 3 year old at bed time tonight. They both loved it and were so into it. After we finished they both asked if we could read it again.

This is just a wonderful book!!

So glad we gave this book a chance! It has quickly become a family favorite. Alot going on in this little brownstone, it will leave you asking "what's next !?"

The plot is a little hard to follow, even for adults who are visual learners.

This was a very colorful book. Good examples of working together to come up with a solution that makes everyone happy. Good example of the grass is always greener!

This is a childhood favorite of mine and it has become a rare find over the years. So glad Amazon has my back!

Story and illustrations are just wonderful!
