Easy and fun
The soapstone was of good quality with nice folorstion and precut to the general shape of the animal. The file is simple but dffective and easy to use, and the sandpaper and wax worked exactly as expected. A fun project that produced a remarkably satisfying sculpture.

This is a wonderful project for an older kid. The directions are very clear. The project itself is very detailed and time consuming, but the result is awesome.

Super fun!
Super cool idea for a new craft for a kiddo. Our 10 yr old loved it and is on to more difficult shapes now. It's something they can work on and learn by doing. They can keep it or gift it to someone and can be proud of what they accomplished.

Bad Instructions
Update: Bumping this right up to 5 stars. The company responded to my email about the directions and included an attachment of the original directions. Their response was fast, polite, and incredibly helpful!The instructions that come with it are nothing like the instructions shown. I've just got wordless black and white photos with no descriptions. The QR code just takes you to the website. There are some helpful videos, but nothing that really explains anything from start to finish.
