It’s a carbon fiber pattern on the fob cover.

Very nice and useful and work perfect.

Q: Is this product actually solid carbon fiber, or is it carbon fiber applied to a metal case?

I’m not sure it seemed more like aluminum and it didn’t work very well, and always pop apart.
