Raymond Geddes Animal Pencil Top Erasers for Kids (Pack of 50)

These are so cute. My students love these for prizes in my art room. They have held up well to elementary students. They do not cost much which is necessary for my budget. They fit perfectly on a pencil.

These are so cute! There's a nice variety of animals and colors. I notice my students don't really use them as erasers because they don't want to ruin them. They use them to decorate their pencils.Beware, however, the eyes can be pulled out and then put back in so you'll want to keep these away from little ones or students who chew and swallow small items.

Fun! We were looking for some silly pencil toppers for my kids. Now that we are homeschooling I realize just HOW important extra erasers are. While the fish tails are a little more flimsy (a couple tore).. the rest are holding strong. The animals are cute and funny and my boys were entertained that the eyes can come off and be put back on. We had way more than we needed so we shared with friends.

I bought these because my remote-learning 2nd-grader keep destroying the erasers on his pencils and his standard pencil topper erasers. My hope was that he wouldn’t pick these to bits — and he doesn’t. They are cute, functional erasers, and I’d recommend them for a child who destroys erasers (like mine) or for a small gift/prize option.But, there are some issues. First, each eye is two tiny pieces, and those pieces come out of the main eraser body quite easily. I am so, so tired of searching for tiny eraser eyes because “it looks creepy now, Mama.” Second, they are very top-heavy. It doesn’t prevent them from staying on the pencil, but when using them to erase (their actual function), the body easily tears away from the base band that keeps it on the pencil. We work around this by taking it off and using it as a handheld eraser, but it’s still a bit annoying. And finally, the packaging is just ridiculous. Every single one of these erasers comes in its own plastic bag. I’m guessing this is because the eyes come out, but it’s an ecological nightmare that may prevent me from purchasing these again.

So I brought these erasers for a 1st grade class. Although they loved them. The erasers kept falling off the pencil and the eyeballs for falling off. They are cute and the kids love them but don't think I will be anymore of them. The eyeballs fell off within 5 minutes of the kids opening the package.

These erasers are always loved. The eyeballs do remove easily and get lost quickly.
