This thing is great, I can't remember how many times have I tried to mix my milk/water with instant powder products with low success, but this really mixes everything. It is powerful, slim, nice looking on your kitchen and batteries last fairly (make sure you get a pair of rechargeable AAA batteries).PRO TIP!!!! If you're like me and you used the included super cheap batteries, change them now!, I thought this was a bad product during 6 months (what a noob) until I just put some brand new batteries and now it creates these mighty swirls on my glass :)

My husband bought me the Cafe Casa milk frother with a rechargeable battery for Christmas. It works beautifully. I wanted one for work and the Cafe Casa was with rechargeable battery was no longer available so I bought this Ventucci. What a difference. It does not make the same froth and the froth vanishes in minutes. I don't know if the batteries make the difference, but this one does not work as well.

After only a couple of months of careful use (going only from the dish drainer to the milk and back again, with a quick rinse in between), the unit completely stopped working. At first the whisking portion of the frother fell off, and the initial speed it generated could no longer be duplicated (and the wand seemed to wobble a bit too). Then it started sporadically not starting. I changed out the batteries and unscrewed the motor portion of the frother before reattaching it. It worked again, although I usually had to start it in the upright (upside down) position. Then it just completely stopped functioning. I understand this isn't an expensive item, but I'm extremely disappointed and won't order again from this company. I'm searching for a frother that has better reviews for longevity now.I was pleasantly surprised by the power generated by this tiny frother, which got its first run today. In just seconds I had a nice foam that lasted through my entire breakfast. In testament to the Ventuci, I was using half and half, which is always harder to foam than low-fat or fat-free milk. I warmed the milk on the stovetop first to get more of a coffee house feel to my drink, but I'm sure in the summer this could add a little foam to iced coffee drinks in place of whipped cream.I buzzed it for a second under running water to clean it, and it emerged milk-free. This model comes with a mounting plate rather than a stand to hold it when it's not in use, but I think I'll be using it so often I'll probably just pluck it from the dish rack whenever I need it.Don't forget to purchase AAA batteries to use with this frother, as they don't come with it.I see it is currently out of stock, and I'm sure it's due to the Ventuci's high quality. If it becomes available again, I wouldn't hesitate to grab one. It would make a great gift for any coffee lover who doesn't want to fuss with a full espresso machine. I've had a couple of espresso machines that just wound up getting clogged up or never really steamed milk well in the first place. I also have a Bialetti Mukka, which never foamed milk reliably either. I will probably dig that out to make espresso in the bottom half, and use the Ventuci for my foam. Today, I just brewed a dark roast in my French press, and it was delicious with the warm foam on top. I'm looking forward to using it for steamers, chai, hot chocolate, etc.

Works fab, burns thru batteries - just can't do it to the environment

Initially I was unhappy with the product and wanted to return it. It ran too slowly with the eneloop rechargeables.On a hunch, I switched to regular AAA batteries. The difference was night and day! Extremely powerful and excellent frothing capability as opposed to extremely anemic performance with the rechargeables.It seems to be spec'd for something closer to 3 volts rather than the 2.4 volts you get with two rechargeable NiMH batteries.I would have preferred to have it work with rechargeables but it lasts a long time with regular batteries so I am not generating too much landfill.

After a trip to Italy I had a tough time going back to american coffee. I bought this to copy as close as possible the cappacinos I enjoyed on my trip. It works so well I have bought three of them.. One for me and each of my daughers. It makes quick work of coconut milk, almond milk and 2 percent. My grandson's also love milk steamers and this works perfect for them.

Well-made, sturdy frother and not like those cheap plastic ones. I like that the button is on the end of the frother. It makes virtually no noise and froths up any drink! Easy to clean and to store but I'm keeping it in a drawer for now. Wish I had purchased this sooner. Love my frothy coffee drinks!

Works, but I wish it was stronger....new battery doesn't help :(
