I threw this away!
I probably should have just sent this back, that would be my advice to you. This did not help me at all and is difficult to put on or make sense out of. It was not comfortable for me. This was a definite waste of my money. Maybe you will have better experiences with it. I found it to be ugly as well.

Update: I have to take two stars away. It's stretched out so much my mouth is falling open. I've only had it a couple months and it's already useless.NOTICE: don't use this so tightly that it forces you to keep your teeth clenched. You should be able to still own your mouth easily. It's designed to keep your mouth from falling over, not to force your mouth shut.So I have a pretty bad underbite that for some reason seemed to get. Bad out of no where, I've never really been a mouth breather at night, but the past couple weeks it's been bad. Waking up in the middle of the night needing to swish water around my mouth. Wildly uncomfortable. I wasn't even sure things like this existed, but then found a few different styles. I kept wondering which woukd be the best and stay on most likely to stay on in the night and landed on this. I used it for the first time last night. I wish I'd gotten it earlier. First, it's much more comfortable than you'd think. It's not tight, but just snug enough to keep your mouth from falling open in the night. I didn't have any trouble falling asleep with it, and it stayed in place all night. I slept until 10am, (went to sleep around 1am)without waking up once. That's is unheard of for me.I'm so impressed and happy with this purchase and the price is unbeatable.I've never been told I snore, but if you do i imagine this would solve the issue with minimal sleeping adjustments

It works ok.
It fits great but it does stretch out over time.So much that you can’t strap the Velcro pads. Any longer. But they are cheap enough to just buy new ones. I Never tried to wash them.Could be better if the headgear was made for smaller heads. Or compensate for the stretching .

It's a relief
I am delighted with this device. It's working really well for me. It keeps my mouth closed all night. It's lightweight, and I'm not aware of being in place. It seems to provide the perfect tension for me: It keeps my mouth closed, but doesn't make it difficult to open it -- to speak, for example. This device has two straps, one that goes over the top of the head, one that goes behind. That makes it easy for me to have the tension I want, and to keep it in place all night. I don't undo the top strap when I take it off, so when I put it on the next night, the tension is just what I want.` I put it on, close the back strap, and I'm done. The closures are similar to velcro, but better, I think. They are easy to use, and work really well. When this first arrived, I thought that it was cheesy-flimsy. It IS flimsy, in that it is thin, lightweight, and stretchy. And that turns out to be perfect. I usually sleep on my side. I never feel some lump or protrusion digging into my head; I really do forget that it's there.I plan to buy two more of these. One will be a backup for me. It can't last forever, and whenever it dies, I want to have another one ready to go. The second one will be drop-shipped to a friend who I know has breathing/snoring issues while sleeping.

Unfortunatly the product did not work well for me.
This product was a waste of my money. It would come off of my chin and end up around my nose a couple nights, since I received it and have been trying to use it. This happened even last night. When I first got it, I actually got one good night with it. Had a really good night sleep, so I was actually excited and hopeful, but it was very short lived. I have already ordered and different product and was thinking this morning that maybe I can salvage some use out of the velco on this thing. I do NOT recommend buying this product.UPDATE: Company contacted me and offed me a complete refund. They are trying to be a good company and trying to make a good product. I ordered the product because others have had success with it, and rated it highly. I believe the reason the product does not work for me is because of the material used. It's too flexible or stretchy, so it does not hold my chin in place and my mouth can still come open during sleep. In my case I need something more ridged, but apparently others can have success with the product as designed. Unfortunately, the product has not worked out well for me. I have continued to try and use it, while I wait for a different product, with limited success. I want to point out that the seller has tried to do right by me, and that is much appreciated, so I added a star, and changed my review title.

Unfortunately promotes breathing obstruction
I bought the device to keep my mouth closed during deep sleep and prevent dry mouth. It works fine to close the mouth and force nose breathing. Unfortunately, the strap pulls the chin too far rearward, which causes obstruction at back of the throat. This promotes snoring and apnea symptoms. I expect that most similar devices share this problem, especially if the wearer has a fat chin. I do not at 6'-1" and 155 lbs.The device is reasonably comfortable but takes some getting use to it. Attach it as loosely as possible. It did not work for me. I believe something less stretchy would work better for most people.
