Great Length, Great Price
I used this in my PowerEdge 2950 III. I have the model with 6 hot swap drive bays, but I wanted to make the OS independent of the RAID. I ended up turning on one of the SATA ports on the motherboard and used this to connect to an unused molex connector at the front of the case (believe it was intended for a floppy drive). It was long enough that I was able to route this through the standard cable channels over the heat shroud/fan area and then used a molex to SATA power adapter. Mounted a SSD SATA drive in the back near the motherboard and now I have Server 2012 R2 Datacenter and Hyper-V installed on an SSD independent of the RAID. Mission accomplished.

Works perfectly for to connect to USB 3.0 PCI cards!
When I bought USB 3.0 PCI cards from Amazon, I didn't know that they needed a 4-pin power connector until I opened the box. The ones that are inside the Dell computer (near the power supply) cannot stretch out to the PCI slot area...so I had to Google if there were 4-pin power connector extension cables that exist.Lo Behold here they are! They work great and are more than enough length needed to connect the USB card to the original cable!Great buy!

It does the job... but
Like a lot of the reviews, the wire gauge is super thin and dinky, so if you plan on using this for anything other than some fans or lights, get higher-quality extensions.

Works, good price.
I got this because it was a good price, and wasn't 3 feet long! I only needed to provide power to a USB 3.0 PCI card from an extra molex connector near my drives, and this was long enough to reach across an ATX motherboard yet had enough slack to route out of the way.

WARNING!!! FIRE HAZARD!!! super thin wire!!!
probably 24 guage wire do not use for anything that requires any amount of amps!

Custom projects must have.
I use these to make proprietary batteries work with generic chargers. These Molex connectors are not as good as I have seen in the mid 1990s but they are the most affordable I can find that use a good quality nylon connector and decent length.

I have an ancient Dell computer that has some legacy programs that I don't have anyway to reinstall on my mew computer so I was panicked when the power supply died. Then I was even more annoyed when I received a replacement power supply and the power cables wouldn't reach the disk drives. But this product did what it was suppose to do and I FINALLY got my old Dell resurrected and regained access my software!

Cheap thin wire
These are made with the thinest wire I've ever seen in a PC power cable. Do not use them if you wish to run a lot of current through these.

Not really 14 inch, flimsy wires
As mentioned by others: the wire gauge is kind of small. Smaller than any I've ever seen. Also the 14 inches were measured including the connectors when you stretch the thing out. However, a part of the connectors are inserted in the other one, so it should be 13.5 inches effective extension. I hoped the 14 inches was only referring to the cable length though (without the plugs.)
