Improvement over original bracket made plastic
So pleased with metal replacement bracket for Hunter-Douglas shade. Surprised how easily I could reinstall shade with no concern that brittle plastic bracket might shatter as I snapped the shade into place.

New version is sturdier, but less adaptive
The new version (picture is the old version) is metal which is great, but the mounting flexibility is not as good. I had to buy additional brackets.

shade holder replacement
One end of a long horizontal shade snapped off leaving the shade unuseable. The replacement part did the job and now we are able to use it again...so much less expensive than a service call.

fir perfectly, easy to install
These are very hard to get in my area. Easy to install and work better than the brackets my blinds came with 20 years ago. Happy I got these. I bought a few extra sets in case they stop making these

Definitely worth every penny!
Having dealt with the old versions of the silhouette blinds brackets, I must say, these are outstanding! We needed to wash our silhouettes and could not get them down--finally gently pried them down with a small crowbar, knowingly sacrificing the old brackets. These new ones, once in place, are so easy to use--lever one way, put them on; lever the other way, take them down. It won't be another 22 years before they're cleaned again. One recommendation: be sure to use appropriate size drill bit to pre-drill the holes. As with most stuff of this ilk, the screws are cheap and easily chewed up. We lubricated the screws with a bit of WD-40 and that helped. It's definitely worth replacing any old brackets. These eliminate any struggles getting the blinds off and back on.
