Excellent laptop backpack
Honestly the last thing I needed was yet another backpack, but this one stood out to me for some reason, and I am very glad I got this to replace my old backpack.Starting off with the build quality, It is surprisingly nice, I didn't really know what to expect from American Tourister since I've never used any of their products before, but I can definitely say now that they seem like a quality brand, there were no design issues out of the box and it feels like it will last me a long while. The comfort really is what's impressive though, I have never bought a backpack that cost more than £30 so to get something a whopping £20 more expensive was a big step in my life, and man was I happy with this, right when I got this backpack I immediately loaded it up with all my essentials, My laptop, laptop power brick, headphones, earbuds, handheld game console, a saussage roll, a power bank, and a ton of wires, it came out to around 6KG, on my old backpack I could hardly wear this much stuff without my shoulders aching after a few minutes, but this backpack is cushioned up so much you don't feel as much pressure on your back or shoulders, it is really great, if we weren't in a lockdown I'd take it out for a day but sadly a 20 minute walk in circles around my house and garden had to do, I feel like I could wear it for hours.Of course the style is subjective, I personally think it looks kinda nice (I chose Shadow "Gray", can't say I'm surprised they spelt "grey" wrong considering the name of this brand), I'm not a big fan of the green-yellow parts but it's not that big of a deal, if you like the look of this backpack, you definitely won't be disappointed with it as I've said in the paragraph above. So how big of a laptop can you fit in this? Well, it has a surprisingly big slot for laptops, the page says 15.6 inch but I honestly think you could fit another inch in there, thickness is no issue either, my laptop is nearly 3cm thick (15.6 inch screen size) and fits very well in this bag, maybe even too loosely, laptop size is no worry at all for this bag. That's about all I have to say about this backpack, It's really great but £50 is a lot to spend on a pretty simple backpack even if it is pretty comfy, I'll leave the value to you readers but my personal opinion is that it's worth it if you have the money to spend on a backpack, don't go out of your way to get this if you're considering cheaper options. Thanks for reading my review!

Quality lightweight pack - good for small laptops
The back pack arrived well packaged and I immediately knew this was a very light bag from the package. On opening it looked a good quality pack and having a good look around the stitching confirmed this had been well designed and well put together. On inspecting the pack further I could see that this was very well suited to carrying a small laptop, with a well cushioned laptop holder inside the main section of the bag. There is a handy velcro strap that goes over the laptop to secure it in place, and having taken it out on a long test walk I can confirm that the laptop never felt like it was moving around. So I'd be more than happy using this on a long commute or taking it away with me for a couple of days on a work trip away from home. The straps are comfortable and sit well on the shoulders so that a long walk with it doesn't feel bad at all. The zip design is also good and thankfully good quality zips have been used too, as this is an area where some of the backpacks I've had have been poor. I'd expect these zips to last a good while before anything went wrong.Material is of good quality. Very light but it feels rugged and I suspect will not damage easily. You can sense why this backpack is a bit more expensive than some alternatives from the quality of materials used and for me if you are going to carry important equipment around like a work laptop you want good quality.I went for the grey version and it looks very smart. I'd be happy using this as a short weekend bag as well as for work, and it certainly looks smart and discrete enough to be used in pretty much any instance. The small fluorescent details on it are actually a very intelligent feature. Discrete enough not to shout out but when using it on a bike they provide some very good highlight points to help with road safety.Overall, if you need a great quality work/leisure backpack then I would highly recommend this one.

Good quality, versatile rucksack but a little overpriced.
This is the “American “Tourister” backpack which is very nicely styled in this grey dark grey wipe clean surface and with some nice design touches on the front and a fluorescent stripe running down the centre, that finished at a rubberised, bright yellow tag.On the front you have a small open pocket, in that there are not any dividers. The 2nd, mid-sized dual-zipped pocket is for a tablet or iPad and easily big enough to take my Galaxy Tab S7+ 12.4” tablet and would take the iPad Pro 12.9”. Even a very small laptop, if you wanted to use the main compartment for clothes. You get a couple of mid-sized pockets, ideal for an external drive, mouse, etc. and a couple of pen/pencil holders. There is not a huge amount of padding at the front of this, should it get a hard thump, and I would have preferred more. The main, again double-zipped, compartment is designed to take a 15.6” laptop or smaller. There is a larger, padded central divider and the back is also padded (on the outside). To hold the laptop in place is a smallish Velcro tab. The remainder of the compartment is open, ideal for cables and power adapters. You do also get a handy front, almost hidden, security pocket. This could take a purse, wallet, or a small phone. The zip sits underneath two long flaps, so not easy for a thief to get hold of without you noticing something is up.On the rear, are two decently padded and adjustable shoulder straps and some nice padding on the back of the rucksack to take the pressure off your back and protect your laptop.Overall, I really like the stylish look and well-made design of this rucksack and, apart from missing a bit of extra padding at the front. It ticks all the boxes for me. At £49.00, I cannot help thinking it is a little overpriced though.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
