Ozeri 12" Stone Frying Pan, with 100% APEO & PFOA-Free Stone-Derived Non-Stick Coating from Germany

Having been in a position where my existing pan had seen its better days long ago and given the fact that I've just fitted my new kitchen, from bare walls to my wife's finishing touches I decided it was time to get a new pan. I have to say I was very naive about the concerns over the harmful chemicals released from non stick technology. Then I found this beauty, I know it sounds weird to be describing a pan in such a way but I cannot stress enough how this pan has pleased me, from its design, it's looks, its performance and it's price( I'd have payed double if I'm honest) I've used it on a number of occasions and its performed effortlessly, from cooking a whole English breakfast, a Thai green chicken curry and one or two risottos. I did as directed, used a teaspoon of olive oil to season it, wiping it around and removing the excess and since then never looked back. Cleaning it is a breeze, I've had no issues whatsoever with anything sticking to it, everything has just rinsed/wiped straight off. Food is very well cooked and the temperature throughout the pan seems well distributed. I'm not sure what else needs to be said, but yourself one, see for yourself, you won't regret it.

Really surprised and pleased with the quality of this pan as have been let down with other non toxic non stick pans previously - this pan has a lovely weight and feel to it - I like the style of the handle and the way it is attatched - pan feels sturdy and does not curve upwards in the middle - nice flat base. Arrived with handy protectibe mat for use when storing so not to damage surface which was nice extra. Have only used 3 times as yet but am pleased to say nothing has stuck. I bought this mainly for eggs as my other eco pans are terrible for them - this has worked well so far

This is a brilliant and truly non-stick 'green' pan. I've tried the other pan GreenPan before and hated it since it always burnt my food and wasn't truly non-stick. This one is such a breeze to use and have had no problems with food sticking or getting burnt. Follow the instructions and season the pan by rubbing a light layer of oil (I just use regular vegetable/rapeseed oil) using paper towel before you put it on the hob and cook the food. Don't need to use a high flame to cook the food because it conducts heat really well. Make sure to let the pan cool down before washing it, rather than plunging it straight into the sink of water after using it, otherwise it may crack it. Its very easy to clean using a bristle brush or dishcloth. Only slight NEGATIVE thing about this pan - it came with a few minor scratches on the inside near the top rim. I took some pictures and contacted the seller who got back to me to say they will send me a new one but they never did. Nevertheless, I am really happy with the pan and I don't think the scratches will be a huge problem. I will happily buy a bigger one in the future.

I cannot recommend this product highly enough. I deliberately delayed writing a review until I had used the product for a reasonable length of time. I bought the 10" version around 3 months ago and because it was so good I have now bought the 12" one. The quality of the pan is really good so it feels nice and solid with a comfortable well designed handle. But it's non stick qualities are genuinely excellent. We have cooked a variety of foods in it and non of them has stuck to the pan. It is also a complete joy to clean as you can virtually just wipe any deposits off with a soft sponge. But best of all is the fact that it is safe and non toxic. Teflon based products are now under a lot of scrutiny as being potentially harmful to us. (I personally know of someone who proved beyond all doubt that his Teflon cookware was making him ill). Plus the fact I never found they were as non stick as these Ozeri Stone Earth pans are anyway. I have another Ozeri stone earth pan 30cm - but now I have a new hob and unfortunately it is slightly too big for the biggest ring (although I can use it but it tends to take up a lot of room on the hob), so I have purchased this 26cm to use. The pans are wonderful and nothing sticks at all. They are a good weight and feel very comfortable to the touch when holding the handle. The fact that they go in the oven too is wonderful. I absolutely love the green felt inserts that sit in the pan in the cupboard so other pans when put on top will not harm the base of each pan, what a clever idea. Well worth the money, I have had my bigger pan for a while now and it still looks like new - and believe me it is used almost every day. Thank You Ozeri for another wonderful product. I may even be ordering a slightly smaller pan as well so I have a complete set. Note: I have now ordered the 20cm pan so I do have a complete set and I love these pans, they are brilliant to cook with all the time.

We bought this pan exactly a year ago. We have used it and loved it, but unfortunately it’s no sticking ability has completely gone. We have been very careful and have never put it in the dishwasher, hand washed. It’s a nice pan! But it doesn’t last, dissapointing

Had this pan for a couple of years now. I guess weekly use or so on average. Initially it seemed good, but just so people know, it did stop being non-stick some time ago. No idea whether that's fair or not for from a modestly priced pan like this, but thought I'd let potential purchasers know.

This is a beautiful pan,nicely weighty, good comfy handle, so easy to clean, but I noticed after one use an indentation in the rim. Naturally I thought it had got bumped during delivery, but there was no sign of that on the boxes. It has been sent back for refund, though I would have been happier with an exchange, as even with this factory fault, we still really like this pan, and intend to order another. It's great that one can buy a non-stick pan that is also non-toxic, well made (factory mishaps notwithstanding ) at a reasonable price. We bought the lid as well, which makes the whole thing look really good too.Will add photo later .Later. Sent it back, got refund, bought same item again, second pan had a dent as well!! Sent it back, and the lid because I doubt it'll fit the next pan I buy. What can I say, unlucky twice? No problem with the returns though.
