Japanese Custard Mochi - Raspberry- Japanese Mochi 168g

I try to do reviews for all purchases... this one unfortunately was not goodThe inside & outside had no distinct beginning or end to the texture, it was like a weird curdled jelly through it all, it tasted of plastic & looked like heat must’ve gotten to it at one point.None of us liked them... even a 4 year old who never tastes what she eats wanted to spit it out (she devours food insanely fast too)Maybe a storage issue with the product we received? But it was terrible! I didn’t bother sending a complaint in... sometimes it’s just not worth the fuss & we will just avoid it next time.

Horrible chemical taste from the filling. The “custard” was chunky gel that tasted like bathroom cleaning chemicals. A real sharp “spit this out now” taste. Second ingredient is a chemical preservative so it might be that. Tastes nothing like fruit. I will be throwing these away as I’m actually scared they are dangerous to consume.

This one was ok not as good as the lemon

I agree with one of the reviewer. It has chemical taste in the first bite. I didn’t even finish one whole one. One bite was enough. It was terrible. Very sticky like stick to your teeth. Not like other mochi I have been eating. I would not recommend

Had to spit out. Absolutely disgusting. Tastes the way nail gel smells at the salon.

The inside was probably rotten already, it tasted bad and it was yellow and ball-like, like how crab caviar looks like. Some had oil pooling inside it too. Not worth your money, buy other brands
