Utility Tactical Waist Pack Pouch Military Camping Hiking Outdoor Hand Waist Bag (Green)

After using this bag for several weeks now, I need to raise my review to 4 stars. This sucker holds a lot of gear and I still have some room in the side pockets. Bought it for a mini-evac bag (grab and go) and it holds everything I wanted to carry in it and still has space yet. Jury is still out on the zippers but other than the fact they appear a little weak, they are hanging in there. If I was sure the zippers would take hard use, I would have rated it a 5 stars. When I received the pack, I had some doubts considering the sewing issues it displayed but it has proven me wrong. Not sure how tough the plastic belt holders are but so far so good. Currently carrying about 10 pounds. Too much for a waist pack but fine for an over the opposite shoulder carry. What can I say? Initial eval was incorrect.

I got this to go bird watching with. I always have so many items like my cell phone, bird guides, handkerchief, gloves, sunglasses, and so on. Backpacks are a pain in the neck because you're always having to take them off, swing them around and open them to get things out. With this waist pouch, I can just reach in and get what I need at that moment. This is especially critical when I want one of my bird/nature guides or a handkerchief.This pouch is big enough for most of my things. It is a bit of a tight fit for my field guides, but they do fit so it works for me. I love all the pouches because I can keep my cell phone separate and my field guides separate from my water bottle. It is also a drab color and sturdy build which I love for bird watching. There is even enough room for me to pack a snack or two, so I can go all day with just this waist pack and have everything I need very handy. And I don't end up with a shoulder or back ache the way I do with a backpack.When my husband saw this pack, he immediately wanted one, too. They really are a great size for holding all the things you'll need for a day in the field.

I ordered two of these packs on two separate occasions. The first pack was durable, fit all my gear and tools, and was a good overall buy. This led me to buy a second pack.The second pack was a mess right from the start. Buckles and zipper tabs broke while opening, and the seams ripped when a flashlight, some food bars and knife were put inside.I would recommend buying because the first pack was great, and I still use it. However the second pack is the reason for the lower rating.

I ordered this on 5/15/15 to use as a first aid kit pouch. It shipped with a projected delivery date of 6/11/15 - 6/29/15 directly from China. It arrived on 5/26/15. It is functionally identical to the other "squad medic " first kit pouch that came filled with second rate supplies. The side pouches on this bag are slightly larger than the other one. This bag is perfect for my application. I have already filled it with quality major wound medical supplies. This is constructed of a Plastic backed canvas material that is visually identical to Major brand name canvas bag manufacturer material. this should be water resistant for a long time. This bag has a detachable strap that could be attached in 2 different locations for around the waist or over the shoulder carrying. The strap also stores inside of the built in hook/loop closed pocket in the back of the bag. MOLLE attachment points front back and sides. I intend to fill this with first aid supplies and attach it to the Shotgun Scabbard where I carry my limbing axe. When using a chainsaw that scabbard and axe are at the work site. If an injury is caused because of a chainsaw, it will be well past the capabilities of a simple bandaid solution.

I've tried several waist bags trying to find the one that will hold a lot of medical supplies with easy access for using them from the front. This bag is well made, but has a very small zipper opening in the top. Not convenient for accessing supplies and using them in the field.

I ordered this item as an alternative to carry treats/tugs/balls while training dogs and it has worked out great!The main area holds plenty of treats and a ball, cleans well, and is easy to access while I'm running my clients and dogs. The side pouches are plenty big for more balls and even bottles of water. I use the front pouch to tote around sunscreen, bug spray, and my clicker. The material is durable and has held up well under the jaws of my dogs (who tug and snoop inside enthusiastically). Zippers work, haven't had any snags/rips. The thick waist strap offers good support.What sets this apart from other treat training packs is its ability to carry around tugs. I train in agility and it is a good place to "hide" the tug while running with the dog and the large compartment makes it easy to access the tug quickly to reward.Heavy duty! I am very happy with this purchase.

The quality on this is excellent. It's a durable pack, very large, suitable for camping, hunting or other extended use. Not appropriate for everyday use unless you're The Hulk. It's really large. Really, really large. While I won't be getting everyday use out of it, I decided to keep it for camping trips.

If you pack it too heavy, the velcro will come apart on the belt and it will fall (I used for bike riding and the velcro came apart. Thank goodness no cars were coming to run over it).
