For me a good pen needs to do 3 things.1. Sits well in the hand 2. Writes smoothly without gaps or ink flow issues 3. The ability to make my less than Stellar handwriting appear legible. Of the 3 criteria the last one isn't the pens fault. These pens nail all 3 of my criteria.I like the size of these too, the barrel feels perfect in my hand. The ink flows smoothly from it's nicely finished housing. Before the Pentel EnerGel i was using some different pens from a brand i trust but were underwhelming. After reading some reviews, I decided to try these. The other brand still makes great markers.The Pentel EnerGel feels like a more expensive pen despite being less expensive than the pens I was using prior. I don't know about Durability yet, I've only used one pen for about 10 minutes. But i could tell as soon as i started writting with it, i liked it better.I'll update if anything changes but given the build quality of these I doubt that will be necessary. My handwriting is still garbage but at least i have the best pen possible to illustrate the fact. I can't remember liking a pen more. Believe the hype these are great pens. 5/5

Nice pens! Writes soooo smoothly. I normally use Jetstreams but these pens are every bit as good. Highly recommend!

I was befuddled because I couldn't get these pens to write. In preparing the return request, I picked up one pen to look carefully at the point so I could describe that "tiny something" that seemed to be blocking the ink. As I touched it, a tiny ring fell away, revealing the actual pen point and now the pen writes perfectly. It could be that there were instructions on the package, but I didn't notice.

I am a pen collector and these were a great addition. I love the color and it writes smoothly. The ink seems to dry fairly quickly or I have just been lucky not to smudge anything. The main function I like is that I can buy a refill pack of either the same color or a different one when the ink runs out. Over all this item is a 5/5 and I didn't even have to set foot in a store.

Absolutely AMAZING writing pens. Previously, I had order a large pack of the Uni-ball Signo 207 gel pens. Horrible. Every single one of them skipped like crazy. I've never been so disappointed. After reading glowing reviews about the Pentel EnerGel 0.7 pens, I ordered just two to try out. They wrote flawlessly! It did not matter what type of material I wrote on, I experienced absolutely ZERO skips! I went back and ordered more. The Uni-ball pens are destined for the trash bin. BOTTOM LINE: Stick with Pentel. Today I ordered two of the Pentel Floatune 0.8mm pens to try. Will write a review on those as well as soon as I test them.
