Yes, made in Japan! Perfect!
My family eats a lot of Japanese rice, the short grain or the sushi rice as it is called here. This is perfect for washing it and taking out all the white starch. The plastic is sturdy and the product well made. Made in Japan!Perfect for the job, speeds up my routine of cooking rice.

Perfect little bowl
Just makes life so much more simple! Where has this been all my life? So used to doing the bowl and strainer method (where I always end up, knocking the strainer upside down to empty it and rice flying everywhere). Oh yes, a few grains do make it through the strainer, but I just call those the “bad egg”! It’s completely worth it and I wish my mother had one of these when I was young and she taught me how to make rice. I only recently read the back of a bag of rice when my kids were about to boil a vat of water and talked about “straining it before serving”. Had to teach them the proper way - the water 90%of rice eating nations make it. And there’s no strained watery and rubbery rice!

It works
I've found it works so much faster and so much better than my old method (2 bowls and a sieve.)the quality for a piece of plastic seems fine. it washes jasmin rice no problems.

It is effective
Not much to say. It is better than an ordinary bowl. 99% of the water rinses away. It is difficult to clear all of the rice from the bowl but it is achievable with persistence.

Very happy
Prefect for washing rice. Small bumps at bottom to help clean the rice is an excellent touch. Just wish the gaps were slightly tighter to wash my quinoa

Funziona benissimo

Made in Japan
