Our Earth's Secrets Goats Milk - 2 Lbs Melt and Pour Soap Base

Several years ago, I worked as a soap maker for a goat milk soap company, but after stepping away, I’ve always wanted to get back into soap making. Recently, I decided to try melt and pour soap, and I’m so glad I did! This 2-pound melt and pour block came in two manageable pieces that were easy to cut and melt. The soap turned out beautifully, and I’m impressed by its durability during the curing process. The best part? You don’t need lye or any complicated ingredients—just the melt and pour base. You can even customize it with essential oils.Here’s how I made mine:Use a microwave-safe bowl (glass works best) and a silicone spatula.Cut the soap block into 1-inch cubes and place a handful into the bowl.Heat in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring at the end of each interval until it’s fully melted into a smooth liquid.Add 2 tablespoons of castor oil, 2 tablespoons of almond oil, and 4 tablespoons of essential oil of your choice.Stir well to combine everything, then pour into your mold.Let the soap sit overnight to harden, then cut it into bars.Let the soap cure for another 12 hours, and it’s ready to use.Enjoy the process and your homemade soap

Loved this, easy to use in making you're own soap witout making your base soap from scratch, I didn't want to mess with the lye and formula mixing, this saved me so much time and work. It's a good base my skin loved it, good lather and cleaning.

I just love this melt and pour base! It melted very easily at about 150*F. Smooth, silky and fragrance free…I added oatmeal, jojoba and vanilla essential oils for sumptuous bath bars…The product arrived in a sturdy manufacturer package, two one-pound blocks in protective cellophane wrappers that have a two-year expiration date.Most definitely will buy again! and again, and again…

I like this soap base. I have ordered it a couple times. My Great Granddaughter and I used holiday molds to shape this melt and pour product and gave cute soaps out as gifts this year. This is a gentle soap for the skin, naturally smells yummy and lather's nicely. We added some essential peppermint oil to make them extra special, placed them on a cute plate or coaster, added a Christmas hand towel and wha-la, the perfect little gift. Very pleased with this soap base, there is no mess to the project, after all, it's soap. I will order again.
