Disappointing Experience with Portable Package SealersI recently purchased several portable package sealers with high hopes of simplifying my storage and sealing needs. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing.From the moment I received these sealers, they failed to perform their basic function. Despite following all the instructions meticulously, the devices simply did not work. The sealers would not heat up properly, making it impossible to create a seal on any packaging material. I tried different types of bags, including the recommended ones, but the result was always the same: a weak, ineffective seal that quickly came undone.Overall, these portable package sealers have been a complete waste of money. They do not perform as advertised and are plagued by poor construction and unreliable performance. I cannot recommend these to anyone looking for a dependable sealing solution. Save your money and look for a more reliable product.

This thing works just as advertised. EASY to use right out of the box. Since nearly every chip bag is similar in design, it does work on most.The only hang ups are:Some bag materials don't like to be melted shut. Some have the metallic/foil layer on the inside will not seal well. Also, if the inside of the bag is very greasy where you are trying to seal it will be difficult. Otherwise, 90%+ of chip bags will seal quick and easy.This does take two AA size batteries to operate, and they don't last as long as I would like them to. But we still find it worth it to use over the old clips.

My brother bought this for my mom. It works well! And it’s handheld size! I like that it has a hook so you can hang it in the kitchen if needed. I also enjoy how it’s portable and can fit into any bag, purse, it may even be able to fit a clutch purse.The only difficulty I personally have with it, is that when using it with soft plastic bags, it sort of melts it and doesn’t glide as smooth and create a good seal. If you’re using this to seal chip bags, it’ll work wonders! Or any foil type packaging similar to chips. BUT if you’re using it to seal soft plastic marshmallow bags (like I do) then you might just melt the plastic and not create a good glided seal on that item. (Plastic bagged items that come in a cardboard box work fine! For example like the plastic bags in cereal boxes won’t melt as easily as the marshmallow plastic bag) Hope that made sense!😭Other than that, this product works great!

These bag cutter sealers work ok. They cut bags the first few times very well then there cutting ability diminishes after time. The sealing works well if you go nice and slow. Real slow. I mean they re what they are.

I gave this two stars: one because it turned on and heated, two because it sealed the plastic. I took off stars because this is terrible quality. The heating element to seal the plastic is sharp and will cut it if you’re not careful. The actual seal is strong once you get the hang of it but looks rough. It also took several minutes to actually start working and even then it’s patchy, not a smooth seal, and skips as you pull it even if you’re not changing pressure. The biggest issue is that it says it will only heat when the end is held together, and it provides a little hook thing that is supposed to hold it apart so when not in use it won’t touch. However, that part is not large enough to hold the ends apart so they flop closed and it won’t stop heating unless I hold the other end. It got very hot because of this. Having to take the batteries out each time to use is aggravating and if it was made better and properly held itself apart when not in use this wouldn’t be an issue. Be very careful so you don’t overheat it and melt something. I’m returning it and do not recommend

My Food Saver machine is now used only occasionally because my Mini Bag Sealer takes care of most things so quickly, easily, and effectively. I LOVE it! I bake often so I’m always using just ‘some’ of a bagged item (nuts, morsels, coconuts, etc) and the Mini Bag Sealer restores the unused portion to fresh new-bag status. It’s an awesome asset for these pantry staples. I use it every day for packaged cookies, candy, chips, pretzels, nachos, etc. ***HUGE TIP: Use this for travel: seal toiletries, floss, cosmetics in little bags to keep them fresh and sanitary. You can even seal a bag of undies or wet swimwear to separate them from the rest of your packed items for the flight home. The best part is, you get two, for a very affordable price. Don’t hesitate. You will love this!
