The fish would stay at the top, but with reading the instructions i realised you have to soak them in boiling water. Overall a great product really pretty just noisy.

This lamp looks really pretty when working and after a while the fish to start to move around. Don’t be put off that they all float to start with. It’s easy to set up though the line that it tells you to fill water to doesn’t exist. We just filled it so the water level was just above where the lid comes to. It does make a really loud buzzing noise when it’s on so I doubt it would be good at bedtime. The lights change colour well. I bought extra fish form another company so my grandson could put different things in the water. On the whole a good purchase. Hopefully it will continue to work well.

This sounds like a kettle on full boil continually. It annoyed my neice so much she had to switch if off.!! Not calming at all

These would be great for responsible kids, my grandchildren are very active and 6 and 8 and I fear this gift will not last long. It looks really nice but the top fits loosely and when it gets knocked over, the water will go everywhere
