Great Buy!!
Excellent product. I bought it for my son, along with a Moso charcoal bag, (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004BOH6BM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). He had bought a vehicle that had an overpowering smell of smoke in it. We tried an auto interior detail, including an ozone treatment and steam cleaning and shampooing the carpet seats, and had no luck with alleviating the smell. We put the Moso and the ionizer in the car, plus a new cabin air filter, and the difference is amazing. The smell has been almost completely dissipated, and it's only been a few days!! He is going to leave the products in the vehicle for the foreseeable future, but the immediate difference is astounding. Great buy!!

I can't say for sure if this works because I only use it while driving and the stale car smell blows out the window anyway. I don't leave it plugged in when the car is off. If it does work it is only while on. Maybe that's how an ionizer works. The car smells just as bad as before when I get back in the car.

Not as expected
Not really as advertised, makes a hissing noticed sound, does not work well in big cars (F150 crew cab, crown vic) work fine in my audi S5, but still the sound it makes is very annoying if the car is quite, but am not sure if this unit is defective or the product it self is of this quality

I would recommend this product
Mine works well and it's completely silent. As for the people complaining about the size, it's not overly large, and it's not deceiving from the pitcures. It's probably about 3" in length. The blue light isn't ideal, but I just unplug it at night if it starts bothering me. It produces a small amount of ozone, so if you vehicle has power to the 12 volt while it's not running, it eliminates the smell while you're not in it.

It seems to do its job and sends out more ions than competitors, only note that it does make sounds and if you touch the tip you can get shocked.

Not sure if it works. Too annoying.
Most annoying buzzing sound on earth. After 2 minutes, unplugged and threw it away. Complete waste of money.
