This is great at smudging as well so it will make great cat eyes. The color is a metallic black, great color that looks great on everyone, for the office or out at a party at night. This has a long lasting effect as well. My only problem with this product is that the pencil is fat/wide and I can't find a sharpener that works.

This is good for using first before putting on a sharper eye line. What this does is it helps line your eyes in a wider fashion. It's great for smudging as well. If you put it on relatively thick and use a smudging tool, then the initial line will be there still, but underneathe it will be thoroughly smudged. This pencil is thick and a little over three inches long. It feels nice in your fingers as well, but you'll need to get a larger pencil sharper in order to sharpen it up. As far as application is concerned, it rolls on smoothly and doesn't seem to move around much. I wouldn't consider it a permanent liner; it has a very smoothly, creamy consistency. I got the black, and it is very soft looking with lots of grey undertones. It also has quite a bit of glitter in it. I would say that this is best when used purely as a smudging liner. It's chunky, creamy, sparkles, and blends easily. Use your smudging tool for the best results. I'm satisfied with it. I went over my smudged line with a much more refined tip for a precise, dark line. Check out my pictures of the liner and how it looks on my eye. I generally stick to thinner pencils for a simple and tight lining, but sometimes dramatic and smoky is the way to go. This chubby stick is awesome for those kind of date nights.I ordered the cleopatra black (because she's obviously sexy!). It's a gorgeous darkened black with a lovely what I would consider hint of blue shimmer to it. Very sparkly and dark and will match many of the looks I'm trying to go for.The liner itself isn't too short like I originally anticipated, so there were no issues with holding it or getting a good grasp for application. It came pre sharpened with a nice rounded edge so there was no poking my eye.I lined the bottom lash tightly but didn't apply to the waterline like normal. I wanted a smudged look and a bit more smoky. This gave me the exact result I wanted! The liner is super smooth and glides on easily to prevent pulling of your skin or that stagger look. I used my pinkie to gentle smudge it out more when I wanted an even more feathered look.The lasting power on this was a little longer than normally because it was under my eye more than on my water line. I did retouch it after 2 hours just to get the dramatic look perfect again.
