I've had this film in my bathroom for a few years now with no signs of age despite all of the steamy showers. It provides enough privacy, while still letting the light in, and my pothos has been doing very well on the window sill. Easy to install since if you mess up your alignment, it's no biggie. You can simply peel it off and start again with no residue. My window was small, so I'm happy to have plenty left over in case I'd like to use it elsewhere. Nice, timeless design, that won't look dated either!

This film looks great! I installed on the windows in my garage for privacy, yet still providing light. Easy to install. Several neighbors commented on how good it looks.

My review below I must be man enough to admit in all fairness to this seller. In the pictures shown, I just cut out the size needed for the window glass and expected them to stick to the window by adding the soapy solution to the window.... My error which I learned just yesterday 2/26/22 was, I was supposed to remove the dotted line film off the back before applying to the window. Because it was difficult at first, I thought what I was doing was correct that this product did not work. I am proud to say I apologize to the sellers of this product because after following the directions, this product is working as it was intended; therefore I returned to change my review to the 5 star this product deserves. I left my original review as an example of when you make a mistake, admit that mistake and make it right. I purchased this item to provide privacy from people being able to look inside my home from outside of the front door. There are 5 windows that extend from the top to the bottom on each side of the door. It's a very nice design; however, you can imagine the need for privacy. The design of this product adds a nice touch to the glass and a touch of class to the decor. After carefully cutting the privacy film for each glass and applying a soapy mixture of water, the privacy film sticks to the glass nicely but after however many days, the wet application dries and the privacy film falls off of the glass. Huge inconvenience of having to keep a spray bottle near the front door to reapply the soapy mixture of water in order to maintain the privacy. It's an easy fix but a huge inconvenience and this is why I rate this product 2 stars overall. - Note, I changed this review to 5 star after recognizing I made an error while trying to install.

I’m returning these. I did a quarter of my window and too small for my windows, but by the time I had completed that quarter, I was struggling to find the willpower to do the rest. They are what they say they are and they work well for what it’s worth. Use much more water than you think you’ll need and put on a long podcast to listen to. I loved how they looked (at least… I loved the part that I DID complete). Let me put it this way. You know those phone screen protectors that you need to be real meticulous with to remove all the bubbles so that you don’t get annoyed? It’s essentially that but for your windows. So if you aren’t good at putting the phone screen protectors on (me… I wasn’t good at that) then get a friend who’s really good at it and pay them with food and entertainment. Also get a large squeegee with a rubber end. Otherwise you’ll be apologizing to your apartment neighbors for the horrendous scraping noise that you create for two hours (I had to use a credit card… it worked but at what cost). I will say, when the strip I put on was up, it stayed. It was really cool to see science at work. They’re not sticky at the back at all. They use static to cling to your windows and removing the air bubbles is crucial. Because there was no adhesive, was also so easy to remove. Repacking is a whole different issue that we don’t have to get into. 4 stars because it was definitely bang for my buck and did what it said it would do. It made things very opaque from the outside (and the inside tbh). It stuck well to the windows and made that quarter of my window look REALLY good! -1 star because I’m not that patient. Also, I was sent the incorrect size. So BEFORE YOU CUT (in fact, before you even open the packages), re-measure your windows and triple check the size of these things. Measure twice cut once, my friends. +1 inch on each side for good measure.

I was looking for a budget friendly way to update my windows allowing privacy and light and these static clings did not disappoint! They are quite easy to apply, just make sure to measure. I measured my windows and outlined the back of the cling that you peel off with dry erase marker and cut to fit. I used a good amount of water which allowed me to position exactly where I wanted, then used my work badge to scrape out any bubbles. Highly recommend!

I love this. I put it over the satin etch finish of my kitchen cabinets and it’s greatly improved the look.

10/10 would buy again. Perfect for privacy in apartment living and filters the light. Not sticky, and clings with static. All you need is a spray bottle with water, scissors, an old plastic gift card, and a sharp razor/knife for installation. Easy to install with instructions and very renter friendly! Definitely start at the top and adjust as you go.

Easy to install but unfortunately you can see the grid right through it. Both sides. Kind of defeats the point of having a pattern.

We wanted privacy but still wanted the day light to come through. This window covering did this so well and dresses up our basement windows. It is a very high end product and was easy to work with.

I am so happy with this product and the look! Allows light in with privacy. This really was very easy to install and did not take long to do. I provided pics of one window done vs. the plain privacy film I had on the windows before - then showed both. If you are looking for an affordable way to spruce up a room, I highly recommend this as a great starting point!

Follow the instructions and the results will be as expected. Easy to install and reinstall. Remember to cut about an inch bigger than the window and you’ll be all set. No need to post pictures since it is exactly as advertised. I used a 5 inch plastic spatula for plastering and it worked great for installing and get the bubbles out.

This looks great on our window and provides privacy without blocking the sunlight.
