5.5“ Steak Knife Block Holder without Knives with 8 Slots - Wooden Steak Knife Storage Block only - Space Saver-Compact Design Steak Knives Organizer -by KITCHENDAOThis is a very nice wooden knife block that now holds our new set of steak knives. We keep them on the counter which gives us easy access any time we need a sharp edged knife. We hand wash our steak knives, then towel dry, and put them right back into this block. That keeps the knives sharp and is much better then putting them into a dish washer, drying rack, or drawer, where they have a good chance of getting nicks in the blade.This Kitchendao block is perfect for our new set of 8 steak knives!

Great size and function
If you are looking for an attractive knife block that does not take up a lot of space, this is perfect. I use it for steak knives, and it is perfect. Very pleased with the quality.

Perfect storage for your best knives
I learned that you should store your knives in a wood block. To keep them sharp and this worked perfectly for my new knives. They fit perfectly

Great block for a steak knife set
I got a new set of steak knives and wanted something to keep them in. This block is finished in a dark/walnut finish. The block is smooth. The slots for the knives are lined up evenly and of a consistent size .The measurements of the slots are in the product information. Compare the widths of your knives to the widths of the slots to make sure you're nice will fit. The depth of the block will handle most steak knives. Pads on the bottom of the block keep the block from sliding on the counter and protect it from scratches.This block would also be useful if you have a number of paring knives and smaller utility knives that you would like to keep within arms reach.
