When I received a message from Jessica, co-founder of Maywood Creek Essentials, I immediately responded by asking if the message was of the generic, canned-answer flavor. She answered by making it clear that she did indeed send the message, so this alone catapulted MCE to another level of expectation for myself. I am a connoisseur on the subject of customer service & Jessica performed marvelously.The product itself has the appearance of water that has a light fragrance and is extremely easy to apply. Now in order to make sure you are truly getting what you expect from this treatment, please be sure to follow the directions as outlined, along with these recommendations (this is for men - ladies, adapt what you can from this):1. Make sure you have thoroughly cleansed and/or washed your face and neck before applying the treatment. I suggest using the hottest water you can stand to open up your pores. You may not need to use a facial cleanser; the pull & push of your bath cloth and clean water may be the ultimate solution for you.2. While pulling or tweezing hairs is suggested by some, I would not do so as to not cause trauma to the pigment in your skin, in particular to those whose melanin is more pronounced i.e. brown-skinned or darker. You'll be surprised if you have never resisted doing this before.3. Be ABSOLUTLEY SURE! you are shaving in the right direction(s) your hair grows. This was a hard lesson for me to learn, especially if you are attempting to imitate what your barber does if he/she shaves you with a straight razor. If you have a barber who is 40+ years old, he/she has more than likely been trained properly on the proper shaving technique, but this method normally does not translate the same way once you get home. If your barber is what I call old-school, he/she will lay you back in the barber chair, apply a hot towel to your face and neck in order to soften the hair and cause it to stand up to produce a much better shave; lather you up with a shaving brush and will generally pull the skin to get it tight to shave you in order to avoid cutting your skin. The majority of the time, you will not experience any razor bumps whatsoever when the rules are followed correctly, as I did not list every step here.HOWEVER, once you get home, using these same motions normally do not produce the same results. If you have found you have razor bumps using what BELIEVE your barber has done, do not feel disappointed: this is not abnormal. But now you will start scratching your head as to why your face and neck are no longer baby soft in appearance and to the touch.4. Learn what particular type of razor works best for you. A single blade razor that works for your barber may not be The Formula that cracks the code when you stand in the mirror of your bathroom. Different companies advertise twin razor and up to six razor to shave with. With so many choices, you will have to enter the Trial & Error Zone. This product works well with consistent use. I would give it more stars but I think the packaging should be changed. This is like water in a lotion bottle. It should come in a spray bottle or roll-on. That way I would waste less product. With the current dispenser I have to use a cotton ball to apply it to my skin and I always make a mess when I shake it up, like the instructions call for. Please change the bottle. Thanks!

I really love this product it works so well on my face without the burning that I get from other mainstream products. My only dislike is the container it came in it leaks a lot I don't think it's ment for such a liquidity substance. So I took my old tend skin roll on container and put it in there now it's great I'm not wasting as much as I was before with the original container. Thanks guy keep up the good work.

While I think this worked great as a toner/astringent, I did no notice any help for my ingrown hairs along my jawline or elsewhere. I find better results just using a bear brush and beard oil than this.

This product does not help with ingrowns/razor bumps or help pores. I have so many ingrowns from my last wax due to this product. My previous product, which i am using again, has never done this. Also, my face completely broke out from using. Very unhappy...waste of money.

I didn't like this product, it's very watery and did not work for me at all, it may work for others but not for me, I'm returning this item and wont even get original price refund, waste of money.

I did not see a lot of improvement using this product. The delivery was quick.

I am very satisfied with this product! I love that it is organic as well. Have not had any razor bumps since I started using it! Will definitely purchase again!
