The only thing you would have to regret about buying a Centipede is that you didn’t buy one sooner!
This gadget is so handy and easy to use. It looks kind of flimsy but it’s actually very stout and makes a firm work bench or work table. I use mine mostly for cutting up 4 x 8 sheets. With a spider accessories you can add two by fours in different ways which enhances versatility. I hesitated buying it but once I did I wish I had bought it sooner. I recommend the 6 foot model - it’ll handle a 4 x 8 sheet very well with only a foot hanging off each end. But it’s so versatile there are many things that can be done with it, whether you’re working in the field on site or in your shop. You’ll never regret getting one!

Wow!
The Bora Centipede is a great piece of kit. Inexpensive, lightweight, easy to set up and sturdy. In building my workshop got tired of assembling, sawing and shaping on the floor. Too much getting up and down. I saw this, along with the good reviews, and bought the 4x6 unit. Further work is much easier working on a raised surface. A sheet of 1/2” or 3/4” plywood and bang, perfect surface to work on. Additional options make it even easier to do projects, as in building my permanent workbench. Later I plan to use this as saw and planer infeed and outfeed surfaces. Using the Bora Centipede allowed me to make my permanent workbench smaller since I have to share space with a car, grow tent, treadmill, rowing machine, table saw, planer and bandsaw all in a two car garage. Full on workshop activities force me to move my car temporarily outside. That’s where the flexibility and ease of setup and tear down come into play. A very good investment for me.

This is a must have for DIYers!
This platform is so easy to set up. If you don't need the full-size area, you don't have to put the all the modular table tops on. Just the ones you need. It also folds up and fits nicely in the included storage bag.

Perfect project table
This is a perfect for project table, especially when you don't have space for a full sized workbench!I bought this as an occasional project table, and it works perfect for that function. I don’t have a ton of space in my garage, so I don’t have the option for a massive woodworking bench. I found this and gave it a go.For a worktop, I bought a full sheet of ½ inch MDF, cut it in half and put hinges on it so I could easily open it up on the BORA and have a full-size workbench. The full sheet hangs over the BORA on each side but it was super solid so I didn't even trim the MDF. Fold it back up and store the top against the wall when I'm done and it is out of the way saving space. The 1/2 inch is perfect and is surper sturdy on the BORA. The BORA has multiple supports so a 1/2 inch MDF creates a solid worktop and is far lighter than a 3/4 inch. You could also use ply which might be a little lighter. Either way the BORA creates a solid workbench because of the multiple supports. The BORA is super sturdy and makes for a perfect workbench. I fold it back up when I’m done and put it on a shelf out of the way.Makes for a very easy and effective workbench setup.

Light, flexible and stable ... gotta love it!
The first decision ... Which one? How big is big enough without overwhelming a workspace? For me, 6’ was a happy middle ground. Using a portion of a garage meant that adding a small surface simply made things too crowded. A full 8’ was often too big. With the speed of set up and tear down, a 6’ unit did allow me, reasonably, to have a truly temporary work surface. A full sheet of ply could be used when required. But, it was too cumbersome to manage in an on/off fashion. The point ... flexibility. Cut a sheet in half and I had more options ... one or both segments depending on the task at hand. Stability is super regardless of the weight or action. Paint and stain? It’s steady enough for detail work. Assembly? Bring on the clamps, hammers and drills. No fear of collapse or shifting. Time to put it away? With the work surface off and a vertical pull on the center struts and collapse is instant. It takes only a small amount of storage space. Accessory availability and cost are somewhat limiting. A little creativity and small expense and many variations can mimic purchased options. Net ... pleased as punch. Glad to have it available to me. Glad of the investment.

MUST HAVE
This is one of those items that makes one wonder why I didn't get it sooner. It's perfect for my wood working when using my track saw. It goes up in seconds and I throw on a 1/2" pieces of OSB and then a two inch thick piece of foam board and bam I'm ready to go. The 4' x 6' size is perfect for handling a 4' x 8' panel. Takes down in seconds and takes up very little room to store away. Strong and sturdy on any reasonably level surface.

Portable and sets up in seconds
I thought this was a bit pricey before purchasing but I'm glad I did. It sets up and tears down in seconds, has a very small footprint for storage and is extremely sturdy. I feel like it would be difficult to damage unless you were being careless. If you're waffling because of the price I get it but it's a well thought out tool and I don't think you will have to get something else in a few years because it is well made. That's a big selling point for me as many tools these days are made with cheap materials.

Makes a great table
I use this as a table to cut wood for habitat roofs. It stays in my truck and I can set up a table in minutes. I love it
