Reliable unit
A bit fiddly to fit but has worked very well.

Easy ro install, looks well
This light sesnor I use for gate lights. Easy to install and loks well on gate post. I find however the amount of light getting in is too little - so the light do not switch off as soon as I'd like (have set to minimum).. A wee niggle, but still good product.

Very inaccessible connecting block inside
Arrived on time as described. This works very well and the instructions are very clear but the connecting block inside the unit is squashed into a very small space and it's really difficult to get the wires into it and then screw down the cord grip. Probably the most fiddly and difficult connecting block to get wires into that I've ever come across in the last 30 years. They ought to have allowed a bit more space for this connecting block. Otherwise however a very good unit.

Could Be Better
Works OK but the operating light level is not effectively adjustable and comes on about half an hour earlier than I would like it to in the evening. An annoyance and a waste of electricity. The Lux adjuster doesn't seem to do anything and is not connected to the circuit board.

Updated review..
I bought this to replace a 10 year old plus sensor that was switching a 240v/12v transformer for my garden lights that had stopped working. My old sensor had 3 wires live, neutral and switched live. This unit requires 4 wires, live and neutral in and switched live and neutral return. No real problem for my set up to run out another wire as it was in conduit. I mounted my sensor on a slim adaptable electrical box from Toolstation. Unit looks very neat and if it gives the same amount of service as my old one I'll be very happy. Update......Still working ok after 14months. No issues

Difficult to set up
The item would not trigger, but the terminals are very difficult to use.
