"Spend peanuts, get peanuts" is the general rule when buying but this filter did not disappoint It's ideal for buyers who want decent / above+okay results when taking family or weekend trip away videos I live in the southern hemisphere and currently midday skies are clear, sun is at its brightest and if you use a video app to record, you can achieve the 180 rule of 24fps / 48 shutter speed and get quite nice results Is there any colour distortion? I did see some when using it with the camera default auto settings. Note the default camera will erratically change the shutter speed and white balance to compensate for over exposure in all lighting situations and in bright days my iPhone would go as high as Shutter 1300/ps Pro's The clip is well constructed and allows for a 37mm - 52mm step up ring to fit a fixed or variable ND The case is a zipped pouch that feels durable and ideal to store and carry Overall construction is good. The filter, upon tapping is glass The lens clip fits tightly and allows for the filter to cover more than one lens Con's The filter cap is a waste of time. It does not fit and I have no idea why its supplied with the filter Thankfully the carry pouch is soft inside and prevents the filter from damage The ND max/min setting ring is not firm to turn, so any accidental nudge will alter your setting There is the common "X" when the max setting is exceeded, just reverse and adjust your video app setting to achieve the desired results I would recommend this to first time buyers, wanting to explore smart phone camera / video apps. Its given me good results so far and for the price I can decide later on if I wish to spend premium on more recognised brands such as Sandmarc

This works exactly as one would expect a variable neutral density filter to work and seems to be of good quality. It's large enough to fit any standard camera lens without any vignetting. Please be aware that like any variable ND filter, there are some settings in combination with your camera settings that will cause an "X" style pattern. This is normal and isn't a defect in this filter. You have to adjust your camera settings (ISO, shutter speed, etc.) or reduce the ND filter setting to eliminate this side-effect.

Might be my phone but this doesn't really work well with my phone

Used it to filter the my Govee smart lights camera. Don't think it worked 100% as the lights are still messed up, but less so now. The clip on this is built in and the spring is very hard. I had to make a cut on the plastic for it to better fix on the camera (otherwise it was tilted). Apart from that, it does what it's supposed to.

I like how it does fit as described on my Galaxy Note 9 ! Covers both rear lenses perfectly without much fuss or figuring. The clamp does cover the front screen quite a bit and prevents access to some of my camera app adjustments but I suppose that cannot be avoided unless you want to invest DSLR lens money into a Moment Case & ND Filter. Simply, this product does exactly what it claims to do, at a fraction of the price of other brands and it will improve your cell phone videography. I have only used it once, last night at the local American Legion to shoot some time lapses & other video at sunset... But while even using on a Moza MX Gimbal the weight of the filter & clamp were not a problem. Nice value and comes with a lens cap and a nice case. - Sweet !

For the price i wasn't expecting to work Great.but it actually works pretty good.im happy with it.i recommend it,I use it on the Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 fits perfectly and on the Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra 20 perfectly to.

Not sure if the one I received is defective or not. The shade stays the same regardless how many time I twist it. I still get over exposure regardless. Doesn’t work. Also mine does not have anything around the ring indicating the shade or if it’s an ND filter. All it says is 37mm. I’m returning it.

Best addition to my cell phone photography and the case it comes with fits my other clip on lens heads so I'm prepared for anything! Try it with the app ProShot!
