M3 worked well to tap into aluminum
Only used the M3 tap on aluminum and it worked very well. Haven't tried on other materials yet. These look good and well made.

So far the M3, M4 and M5 are pretty nice and accurate.
I only use them in 3D printed plastic parts from time to time. But so far, so good. Screws just fly into their holes after using these taps. No complaints, but only use occasionally thus far.

It's the companies fault this is not a 5 star product
This company is selling itself short with stuff like a plastic bag and not proper 5 cent plastic holders.I have plenty of std taps, they work well. Have been eye-balling a set of these spiral flute taps for awhile. I really like the idea of the material coming out the top of the taps flutes instead of getting eaten over and over again by being stuck in the way of the tap.Mine were shipped in a zip lock bag too. No noticeable damage. I have drilled and tapped 3mm, 4mm, 5mm. All I can say is wow, so much different than std taps. As I said, this is my 1st set of spiral flute taps, and its a cheap set to boot. Will a name brand be alot better? I will buy a single tap and find out, but for now, I am pleased (except for the stupid baggie thing).Snapped a few pics of these in action etc.edit* If your taps are sticky, simply wash them in gas or any degreaser and sticky gone.*

Great Quality. Perfect design. Easy Operation
I very rarely write reviews. I am a very heavy Amazon user. I spend ten's of thousands annually with Amazon both personally and for my company. First of all I wasted so much time going to local hardware stores to find a metric tap set. The local Ace Hardware store showed them in stock, but after a 20 minute ride to the store, they were out of stock. What an amazing waste of time. I tried other local stores. Another waste of time. Can never recover from loss time. I went to my tried and true option. AMAZON. I found this tap set, which was delivered the next day. It retapped a stripped hole as smooth as silk. The true test was that my metric bolt easily threaded into the tapped hole. I love this design of this tap set because it removes material as it threads in. No need to clean the threaded hole afterwards. I LOVE YOU AMAZON. Have been a user from the start, primarily for buying books. Even Dostoyevsky and Hemingway would love you, if they were still alive.

Great product, cuts threads quickly, accurately and easily
I bought for my hobby room and was very impressed and pleased how great these work cutting threads in both hard and soft metals. I needed a small set that would be handy and quickly and easily used with an electric drill and vice for cutting softer materials.

Sticky. Really sticky
Why is this thing sticky? Everything is sticky. The bag it came in, sticky. Every time I touch any of these I have to wash my hands to get whatever came on it off.

It did what I needed it to do
I only needed the M2 tap for one hole, and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money for a known good quality tool at McMaster-Carr or someplace like that, so I took a chance on these. I have to admit I was surprised that the tiny little M2 tap did the job and didn't break. It tool a little force to get the first thread to bite (this tap doesn't have a real starter taper) but once the thread was started I was able get the tap all the way thru the material (not very hard steel). A drop of oil on the tap really helps. Now if I ever need to tap another metric hole, I'll have a set that might do the job.

Useless garbage. Shipped in plastic bag, all taps damaged. M4 tap not even threaded.
Complete waste of time and money. Every tap is damaged and the M4 isn't even threaded.Pay 20$ to be shipped plastic bag that you'll need to return (even more wasted time) for something that should have been a painless purchase.Anyone thinking of buying these, haha good luck.

Worked well.
Hardened cutting edges worked as it was supposed to making threads into aluminum.

M5 broke after second hole.
M5 broke after second hole. Used very little torque when tapping the hole.
