London In Lockdown

I have never seen pictures of London so bereft of life. Even the pigeons seen to have decided to have gone into lockdown...As Mrs Pepys remarked " Your famous ancestor would never have written a diary today" . Well there once again I would agree with her. I believe that he would have discussed the architecture and ways of avoiding the lockdown...

I was bought this book for Christmas and imagined, for the price, it would be a large book but it really is not .How is that price justified >?Interesting to look through but there are many a website I could have seen those pictures on .Positive side though, its something quite unique to keep, treasure, look back on and perhaps hand down the generations

Absolutely brilliant book !!! Stunning photography and lovely little bits of information accompanying each photo.A picture of life during the lockdown that will be great to look back on.

A great memoir of an extraordinary time...and all the better for being produced by an amateur who happened to be on the front line.

A beautiful memento of an interesting period in time.

Book is a present & corner is damaged. No damage to packaging!

Well captured moments, but the photographs are very dark, printed on thin non-glossy paper (it gives the impression that they were printed at home). In addition, there are not many pictures in the book. I expected a much higher quality work for the price.
