Braaitime - Droewors, South African Dried Beef Sausage - Spicy Peri Peri, 8oz

These are especially good. The peri peri sauce gives it a nice kick without being too spicy, and unlike some that I've had, they aren't too hard to chew. I had not seen the problem with too much fat that others reported, so maybe their consistency is improved.

Legit and delicious. Great little kick to them also!

Still delicious compared to most jerky snacks in the U.S. Peri peri spice is very nice and authentic. Have to say these lack proper South African droewors appearance, texture and taste experience though. Missing what should be that dried casing “snap” and freshness of the fatty sensationally spiced sausage within.

Love these. They're a bit addictive to me because I do really like the taste and texture plus the spice!

I’ve been buying products from this company for about three years now. Both from amazon and on their own website. I almost exclusively buy the 1lb bags and have probably purchase close to 30 bags these past three years. I’m writing hear to say I will never again give this company another penny. Idk who’s running the show over at braiitime but they are screwing up BIG TIME. Each time I order I keep hoping things will miraculously go back to how they once were but it seems instead the quality gets worse and worse with every bag I buy, this time being the last straw. This last bag was so bad the point where every other piece contains at least one giant hard piece of cartilage or rock solid “chip” (bone maybe?) making either this jerky a daunting task unless you want a chipped tooth. The biltong (their other style of jerky) is even worse. What used to be paper thin sliced, tender delicious pieces I even referred to as “meat crack” are now nickel thick and wayyyy overly salted inedible “meat coins”. It’s a real shame because the cost for the “value” is quite good but now that the quality has plummeted so far I’m finally off the look elsewhere. If braiitime gets their act together and wants to send this disgruntled customer some free “new and improved” jerky once they sort out all their problems I will happily reconsider but I’m not holding my breath!!

Unfortunately, I was so excited to see Droëwors on Amazon that I accidentally ordered the Peri Peri flavour, which kills that iconic South African taste. Be sure to keep your wits about you and order the original if that's what you're after!

I have been getting these for years, but this last package was nowhere near the usual quality. The package arrived and you could see the grease lining the bottomof the package. Very disappointed and far from the product I expected.

So far, this is the best beef jerky I can find! If you haven't tried it or don't like other Biltong... you still must try this Peri Peri Biltong. If you like it hot, you won't be disappointed.
