Amazing smell, disappointing taste
This coffee smells amazing! Unfortunately the taste does not live up to the smell. More than a birthday cake flavor, I got the bitter flavor of burnt coffee.

I love this coffee flavor
I love this coffee flavor! I'm confused by the other posts because I haven't experienced the burnt taste, and I think it tastes as good as it smells. I'm running low and came online to purchase more. However, the bag I have and purchased at TJ Maxx is red, and the bag in the picture is black, and the labels on the two packages are even different. I wonder if there is a difference?

Need to add a little sugar to get the flavor
I discovered that it tastes unflavored and not very good if you don't add sugar. I like a good amount of milk in my coffee, and when I added a small teaspoon of sugar and stirred it the coffee was delicious and one of my favorites.

tastes like plain coffee
Tastes pretty good for plain coffee but doesn't taste like its flavored at all. I was very disappointed because I was pretty excited about the birthday cake flavor, guess it was too good to be true.

Gross
I've ordered the Queen City Birthday Cake coffee prior and it was normally very good. I don't know if I got a bad batch, if the formula changed, or if it was an improperly labeled bag but the last 12 oz bag I got was basically undrinkable. Completely disgusting. Unfortunately, I immediately empty the bag into my coffee container so I can not return. I will now be hesitant to reorder.
