This is one of my purchases in preparation for total knee replacement surgery. The device was easy to assembly. Okay, I had my son help me with the last screw. Otherwise very easy to assemble and slip onto the bed. I have it close to my headboard next to my pillow so that I can easily reach over, grab it and have stable support to roll over, sit up, or get in and out of bed. My bed is really tall, nearly waist high with the Cal King box springs, mattress, toppers. I have not had surgery yet but am enjoying using this bar. I wish I'd bought one years ago and am glad I have it now.I don't move around much when I sleep but I expect this bar could serve well to stop a person that does from falling out of bed just by putting it at a point along the mattress that aligns to their upper torso.It is absolute solid and does not budge or wiggle when you use it. Perfect.

Sturdy, perfect size for my bed

I have Meniere's Disease and getting in and out of bed is usually difficult at best because I cannot regulate my balance. This bed rail not only helps me physically, it has lovely, roomy pockets and keeps things like my tablet, glasses and miscellaneous items at the ready. Highly recommended!

We have a loved one in Assisted Living. He has trouble getting out of bed and has had some falls. We did not want a long bedrail that he would catch his feet on. We positioned this a little above shoulder level. He can swing his legs out and push off very nicely with this small rail.It was easy to assemble. The Allen wrench is hiding in the attachable pockets. The unit slides easily between the mattress and adjustable base. I would think that it would do the same with a box spring. The weight of the mattress (and the person on it) holds it in position well.Overall, a very good purchase.

Easy to use and work great

My 95 year old dad loves this. My dad is 6' and 200 pounds. He struggles to get out of bed. This works beautifully. It is made of steel and, overall, larger than the one I was going to get. It's very safe and sturdy. Love It.

I ordered this for my mom to get in and out of bed. It was easy to assemble and works perfectly nice and sturdy would definitely recommend

I am 28 years old and I have had 2 back surgeries due to a herniated disk. I struggle some days with getting in and out of bed due to general stiffness and sometimes even excruciating pain. This railing helped tremendously after my surgeries. I left this on my bed and have found myself utilizing it on the mornings or evenings when my back is a little stiffer than normal. I would recommend this for everyone who has difficulty with getting in or out of bed.
