RED Light, Serfory 275W Heat Lamp Standing - 110v/60hz

Couple reviews: First the company...I ordered this for a gift for my wife for a Christmas Present. Before I opened it, the company contacted us to make sure everything was ok. Since I hadn't opened it yet, I told them I would let them know. I had one small problem when I finally opened it and they made it right immediately. Would definitely order from this company again!Quick and responsive. Very professional. Went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied.Second: The product. My wife has metal in her back and suffers from constant back pain. I ordered this to help and it seems to do so. It is not certain whether it is the red light or the heat, but it does help. When it gets cold, she can target the area that hurts, heat it up, and it helps soothe the pain. It could be the red light too, but either way it has been a help.

I received this lamp on Feb 14,2023. I was impressed with some reviews i read. Most of them reported negative issues with this product, like bulb was already in socket, bulb was broken or base not stable and so on. .In my case, item came in perfectly packed box, all parts covered in plastic, bulb was safely put in foam block. Very easy to put together. I did not try lamp yet but it is turn on when i connected to electrical outlet.My first impression: electric cord should be longer, it would be better if the control unit should placed not so close to the stand for easier reach if you are alone and want to change settings especially in prone position. I did not get full idea how control item work. And the last one, i did not find anywhere what is nm for this bulb. If it is near-infrared nm is 700-1000, or 700-3000 for infra red. I would like to hear from company the right answer.

The lamp-stand is 4.4 out of 5 stars, so I rounded down. I'm docking .6 star because the user manual shows a locking screw for the upper portion and there is no screw hole, no screw, and the metal piece that would accommodate it is not grooved to support it. This means, if you lift the stand by the extension arm, it comes right out. This isn't necessary for most cases since it has caster wheels which work perfectly. The second down-side is the light-guard. You can see in the picture, they placed cardboard over it which requires you to remove the guard before use. This was quite difficult because of my Arthritis and how tight it was. I eventually removed it and got it back together after slightly bending a few of the insertion locking metal pieces while I had it out. This made it slightly easier for me to remove/replace. It's good that it won't just fall off, just very tight. The base was very easy to put together, but you will need a wrench or socket wrench to tighten the bolt at the base that keeps it all together. The light-head assembly is separate and requires insertion. This too was slightly difficult for me since my strength is weak in my right hand. I was still able to accomplish the task. Aside from that, assembly was very easy. I also took a picture of the plug and you can see that QC wasn't so great on packaging. In the second picture, you can see the plug has foam embedded on it. This doesn't affect functionality, but it looks strange.Performance: I would recommend starting this lamp outside since the first few times you use it, there is some smell from all the heat generated. After cycling it around 5 times for 20 minutes each time, it seasons itself in and there is very little odor at all, if any. The bulb it comes with is a decent bulb, just not top end. It generates plenty of heat and so far it is performing well. This lamp stand is absolutely perfect for me because it is sturdy, easily maneuverable to virtually any angle, and has a switch to turn it on and off that isn't near the light itself, so the switch stays cool.Bulb: The difference between 250 and 275 is obviously only 25w, however; I compared the bulb shipped with this unit to a popular bulb sold here on Amazon called Rubylux (aka. garbage) and the difference is drastic. I can feel a huge difference between them for my RA. In addition, the Rubylux bulb burned out quickly since they use an inferior element and they will not replace broken or defective items. This bulb is still going strong. The packaging says to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement, which I will be doing today just to keep an extra on hand.In the end, I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a way to make their life easier by having a maneuverable stand that you can put on any body part for treatment, even while you do something else at the same time. I wanted this so I don't have to go sit in a sauna or leave the house. I even work with the light on my wrist and hand as I feel relief from my RA using this.

I was very happy with the lamp until the switch broke and started tripping my house breaker, and the post that goes into the base broke off.PROS:- The health benefits of the red light were great. Since buying this lamp we've bought a couple of other lamps including an LED one. This lamp provides quite a bit of heat and you can feel the effects deep into the tissue.- Adjustable. I liked the adjustability of the lamp. It was easy to position in any direction in order to provide heat at the right location.CONS:- Bad electrical. After a few months, the switch started sticking and then our house breaker kept tripping. The switch is no longer reliable and I'm concerned about a short so we don't plug it in anymore.- Construction not strong enough. The part where the metal base connects to the support post is not strong enough and was constantly flexing until it finally gave out. Stronger base construction would have been beneficial.

After one use the light just stop working completely. Do not waste your money! I read it on the reviews but though why not give a shot maybe it was just a defective light that the reviewer received but no they were absolutely right. One use and no more activity after that use.The seller sent me a replacement light out free of charge. Their customer service was great and they were very apologetic and responsive. I received my lamp within a weeks time and it works just fine so far!

This was very easy to assemble, and works really great for pain relief. I loved how adjustable and stable it was.It is everything I wanted! Great product and great design.First lamp I bought had issues but the seller’s service was fantastic and they sent me a newer upgraded lamp. It works perfectly! I’m very happy!
