HANEE Cotton Aprons for Women and Men | Cross-Back Apron with Pockets

I bought this apron to work at my volunteer job in our local Soup kitchen. I want to look professional, keep my clothes clean, and also feel comfortable. This apron does it all. It is made from a material that is heavy enough to fall nicely but does not feel overly heavy or warm. It protects clothes perfectly because it covers so much of my body. I love that it has no ties and does not pull on my neck like other aprons. I can’t count how many compliments I have gotten on this apron! For reference, I am 5’7 and about 145 lbs, and it fits very well with plenty of room to spare.

These appear to be of good quality. Launders well. Needs some ironing. The crossover back is comfortable, better than ties. I am a woman with 43-inch hips, and it fits good but just meets in the back without overlapping. When laid out flat, the apron measures around 50 inches around the hip area, across the pockets, so apparently I need an extra 7 inches to allow for drape and clothing underneath. (If my hips were larger, it would probably still be comfortable with a gap in the back up to a point.) The gray color is definitely more of a green-gray. Overall, am happy with purchase and ended up buying more since I wear them daily.Added on 3-26: I ordered a Navy apron and the fabric was thinner, even a little translucent, and not likely to hold up as well. So I can no longer wholeheartedly recommend this brand.

The color I received is accurate for the photo on the this website. No problems with stitching. The fabric is a bit thin but it is summer so I don't mind. Fits a variety of shapes and sizes. I'm 5'2" and 200 lbs and it fits okay. That said, I think it's a bit too wide for me and I'm certainly not skinny but that doesn't affect how it feels when it is on; just makes me look a bit bigger than I am. This apron provides good coverage overall but if you spill a lot on yourself, the fabric won't protect whatever you are wearing underneath because it isn't thick enough.Upon washing and drying it in the dryer, the apron came out a bit shorter and wrinkled. The fabric reminds me of a cotton/linen combo.I expect I'll be wearing this apron for more than just cooking due to its versatility; I plan on using it when I'm repotting plants, cleaning the house, etc.I haven't washed it yet so don't know if the 100% cotton fabric will shrink or not. In my case, some shrinkage might be appreciated. If it shrinks a lot, I'll update this review.

The quality of this cotton apron for the price is exceptional. I’m an artist and needed a new apron to cover my clothes while painting. It is lightweight, but durable. It is comfortable to wear because of the cross back instead of having to tie it or loop it around your neck. I am very happy with this purchase.

Easy to put apron on but a little more difficult to get off without mussing hair but I am sure with more use, it will get easier. I really like the full coverage and pockets are a plus. Messiness from recipes now go on the apron. Washed up nicely but did iron it. Good quality fabric and craftsmanship.

UPDATE: I just purchased 3 more (June 2024); the black and dark teal aprons are fine as always. The newly available BLUE apron is literally see-through! Extremely thin, poor quality. WTH? (Previous Review follows) I have three of these aprons and just purchased two more! If you are a caregiver, artist, sculptor, gardener...heck, if you want to protect your clothes for any reason, this is the apron you want. The construction of this apron and the material used is perfect; the two front pockets are so handy and I have been known to put my hand in a pocket to use the apron to wipe up a quick counter spill. There is muchmore I could say, but just know I am so happy with these. Every time I dash in a store wearing one, I am always asked about it. Note: They launder great, too. UPDATE: I do NOT understand the bad reviews talking of poor quality, tearing, shrinking, etc. I use my aprons rather roughly (constant motion caregiving for two very elderly parents), have caught a pocket on troublesome drawer pulls and never a tear, no rips or heavy staining (I would appreciate that the apron got such a stain and NOT my clothes). Highly recommend this apron. UPDATE JUNE 2024: I pray that the poor quality of the BLUE apron is not indicative of future changes to this product! I will certainly hesitate before buying again for that reason. smh

I ordered this apron three years ago and I love it so much! The fit, coverage and pockets are perfect. However, the front seam has split, so I purchased a new one.The fabric has changed. It's now a very thin gauze like material and I don't believe this will do much to defend my clothes from greasy or saucy splashes. I can hold it up to the light and see right through it, which I cannot with the old one.ETA: the supplier got in touch with me, apologizing for the fabric. They updated the listing and assured me that not all the colors were the lighter fabric. They offered to send me another free of charge and I decided to go with the same color I had last time (black). It was still the original, heavier fabric I prefer in the kitchen! Great customer service!

This is such a great fitting, comfortable apron. No ties to come undone. Great coverage to keep my clothes clean & it sits just right on my shoulders, with no strap around the neck to get caught in my necklace. Nice quality fabric, would definitely recommend.

This paint apron provides really good coverage so you don’t ruin your clothing. It’s easy to put on with no ties. Two nice big pockets. I got the teal color and it is so pretty. Very comfortable and light weight but the fabric is not flimsy.
