This is perfect for me.
I already know I am gonna love this. I got it today. It is the perfect size to drag around in the house. Lightweight but very toasty. I love the snaps to throw over my shoulders to run outside. So, I did not get this for outdoor camping but to use in cool weather around the house. I feel sure it could be used camping as part of a layering system depending on the outdoor temperature. It is a nice size, because I have had throws where my feet or shoulders were cold. I looked at several different sizes of these type covers and decided to try this one, based on the weight of the fill, and water resistant, and pet resistant. I love it. Oh, and so does my cat.

Light blanket yet retains heat
I love, love, love this camping type blanket!! I love blankets and surprisingly came across this one in the camping section!Read the description and thought perfect! Light weight yet stays warm. And it does. I even sleep with it in bed. Just so light, warm and comfortable. I will purchase another as part of emergency gear in my wrangler. I really do love it and highly recommend. Even has buttons to turn into a poncho!!

Warm, light, cost effective
Overall a good product. Was planning a camping trip for the end of the year where it is going to be cold. By itself, this is 100% not rated for freezing temperatures but it is a great addition to other types of blankets and layered clothing to keep you nice and warm.Comes with a nice bag that folds up similar to a drybag. Getting back into the bag can be a pain, but once you've figured out how to do it reliably it's a pretty quick process. Not to mention because of the materials it compresses down extremely well so it could be great for backpacking.Pros:Extremely lightDoesn't take up a lot of spaceVery softPrice!Cons:Synthetic fill (i dont really count this as a con, because it's fill isn't a secret. But just wanted to point this out in case you skipped over that part in the description!)Slippery fabric

So comfortable!
Blanket came in a little earlier than expected and was exactly as described. Very comfy, puffy, and love the color (got orange)! It packs down very nicely (size of two stacked nalgenes, maybe) and weighs very little. I didn't notice in the ad but the blanket has buttons on it so I can fasten to itself and stay on me. Exciting!

As good as Rumpl for a fraction of the price
I'm cold all the time and have been in the market for a Rumpl blanket since trying on at a friend's but have waited due to the price. Did a deep dive in research and reviews and discovered the Get Out Gear puffy blanket. I absolutely LOVE it. Reflects my own body heat back to me, keeping me warm and cozy. Literally a third of the price of Rumpl for the same quality and level of warmth, packability, etc. For this price I might get one for everyone in my family.

Not That Warm
Used this around home and it was decent. Just went on an overnight hike and took this instead of a sleeping bag to keep weight down. It got down in the high 40’s at night. I knew it would be cool so I also wore my fleece pull over from Cabelas. Should have just slept with the fleece. This blanket did nothing for helping keep warm. Probably works great if you use it the way they show in their photos, on a sunny day in your yard or sitting around a camp fire. If you are looking for something to actually keep you warm, look somewhere else. It also takes a long time for it to actually fluff up. The 2 days we were on the hike, it hardly fluffed up at all after being compressed.

I keep one in my truck for emergencies and one in my camper for cold nights. Compact. Warm. Well made.
