Sometimes Beautiful Mistakes are Made
This is without a doubt one of the best but equally worse decisions I have made. I got these noodles as I was late to the challenge and wanted to record myself and my friend eating them, and the experience was something that has transcended my soul. The noodles themselves are pretty straightforward, as each container includes black noodles, a packet of the devastating ghost pepper sauce, and a plastic fork. Each container has a lift tab lid, and there is a fill line on the inside to indicate how much boiling water to add to it. After the noodles have cooked in the container for a few minutes, simply use the fork to puncture holes on the other side of the lid to drain them, then add the sauce packet, stir and it is ready to go.This is where all the smiles and laughs quickly faded, as I already knew it was going to be intense, but yet it still somehow exceeded that. Immediately on the first bite, it felt as if I had eaten several ghost peppers all at once, while still getting a savory chicken flavor. My eyes immediately started watering, my nose was running, and my face was red from the amount of heat coming from the spice in these noodles. However, what made it really bad was that I was in a rush to eat them as quickly as possible, and within a couple minutes I could feel sharp pains in my stomach. The burning sensation in my stomach was undeniably worse than any of the heat left in my mouth, and it took almost four hours before my stomach returned to normal.I don't know how these noodles achieved this level of spice as I've eaten lots of other spicy foods, but this was next level. The chicken flavor was absolutely incredible if you can handle the heat, and it was definitely worth the experience. My only complaint now is trying to figure out what to do with the rest of the noodle packs, as I'm not brave enough to eat the rest of them just yet.

Here’s the Scoop
As an avid Korean ramyeon lover (specifically the Buldak brand), here’s what I have to say about these beauties:Noodle Texture: Despite not being boiled in water for the full 5ish minutes as to what I'm used to, these noodles cook very well during the 5-minute resting period in the once boiling water and have a nice bouncy texture to them, which I love and appreciate! Nobody likes soggy, falling-apart noodles!Flavor: I’d describe it as hardy. The smell reminds me of a meaty barbecue sauce, sweet but you know there’s a kick lingering. There’s also hints of teriyaki beef jerky (if you know, you know).Spice: I was able to down these puppies quick enough to enjoy them before facing the consequences. Here’s how I compare these noodles to the Buldak x2: Buldak = overall warming, cover-your-mouth in heat kind of spicy. Daebak = mini demons with pitchforks stabbing parts of your mouth and tongue so you can feel the agony in numerous but isolated parts of your mouth! It’s incredible, addicting, enjoyable, and regrettable all at once! TRY THEM!

Insanely spicy
When the smell of the sauce stings your nose, you know it's spicy. This is the kind of stuff that will have your stomach aching which is exactly why I love it. The taste is pretty unique but it's not unpleasant, I actually grew to like it a lot. I'd say this is spicier than the regular spicy buldak but maybe not spicier than the buldak x2. It is quite expensive though but I'd say the experience was worth it, at least for me.

A very tasty peanut geared towards true Chili Heads
This is a tasty peanut. Probably the best combination of flavor and spice that I've found so far since I've (recently) embarked on a quest for peanuts geared towards true Chili Heads. However, while these are definitely going to be very hot peanuts for folks with a "normal" palette, for true chili heads such as myself, this nut just barely makes it over the line. It is hot enough to register as acceptable to a true chili head, but it doesn't come close to really getting the juices flowing. This manufacturer is definitely on the right track and makes a very good spicy nut, but i honestly think they need to add one more product line above the "Black Widow" line which is another notch hotter. It falls just short of what i think true chili heads are looking for. Sadly, I think they are also a bit too expensive for folks who really like to eat spicy peanuts as more than just a novelty. For $12, the quantity is quite small...you can easily finish a bag...solo...in one day. I really do wish they were more affordable. If they they were, I would certainly order them more often.

Can't give it enough praise!
While it's kinda spendy, it's worth getting at least one to try. I got the 6 pack, was planning on sharing with a couple friends, but ended up liking the noodles so much that I kept them all and ate them over like 3 or 4 days. They are HOT! They will hurt your mouth! At the same time, though, the flavor is so good that you won't wanna stop eating them, so you might just find yourself powering through a cup of them, or even 2, if you're like me! My only complaint is that the price seems wild for the amount of noodles to a cup.

Very Hot!
I love Samyang noodles and I can get through the 2X ones with water and a couple of breaks. I decided to try these to see how they compare. The plain noodles are pretty good on their own. They were nice and springy with a good flavor. The ghost pepper sauce tastes like smokey, sweet, very hot barbecue sauce. I was able to eat the entire cup without water or breaks. A few bites in and my eyes started watering non-stop. At the end I was basically crying.I highly recommend these if you need to clear your sinuses, but they are very hot. If the regular hot Samyang noodles in the black package are too hot for you, these are not for you.

Not worth it.
It's hot for the sake of being hot. It has no flavor or value other than trying to see if you or your friends can eat it. Save yourself the trouble and just eat a pepper.
