They are also relatively easy to use, requiring only water for activation. Just wet it first and don't scrub too hard; I've scrubbed the finish off a wall from scrubbing too hard. So take it easy and let the wet sponge do the work. They tend to disintegrate (which is normal), especially when dealing with tougher cleaning jobs. I prefer this at the kitchen sink when dealing with greasy dishes. On a regular sponge the grease gets into the sponge and I have to throw it away. These last longer at the kitchen sink. These work just like the magic erasers but deteriorate faster. Even with them not lasting as long its still much better bang for your buck than the expensive versions. It accomplishes the same tasks.

Mr clean sponges are durable and last multiple cleanings. I have had some in the past that would not last 1 cleaning. These were good, I think we are getting 2 to 3 cleanings/tough scrubs before they fall apart. Good quality for the price.

They do fall apart a little bit quickly, and they're a little bit small... but the fact that there's a whole 50 in the pack easily evens that out! I use them every time I want a bath to make sure the tub is clean. They do just fine! I actually like that they're smaller since I have small hands, and because I don't have to keep a half-used-up magic eraser laying around for next time. I can just toss the small ones when I'm done without feeling as wasteful!They do the job well enough considering 50/$12

The pads, which I thought would be thick enough, tore easily upon wetting and squeezing the water out. I'd ordered them to help get rid of the calcium buildup on my sink and tub, but they don't work for that. I discovered the only thing that does--and I have not tried CLR or similar, as I'd afraid of damaging finishes--is applying Dawn, letting it sit for sevl hrs, wetting slightly and then using a butter knife. However, the melamine works great on my stairway banister, removing yrs of grime from all the dirty hands of past residents w/o my having to use a razor blade to scrape it off. Looking forward to using melamine on my tennis shoes to remove dirt and scuff marks.

With pets, using harsh chemicals is not really an option. This is especially true in the chicken coop, where chemicals are almost a necessity due to the concrete like droppings the chickens leave on their perches. These are amazing and inexpensive for cleaning off the chicken perches without any chemicals! I used a whole pad to clean their coop, but with just water and elbow grease, it did wonders! I highly recommend these pads!

I love using these melamine sponges for cleaning my house, the name brand is so expensive so I'm happy that there is cheaper options like these. They seem to work just as well and last just as long. I will re order these again.
