This product is very good and easy to put up (a soap and water solution can help with that). It’s also simple to remove the bubbles. It’s easy to cut, I used scissors to roughly cut it to size, then a Stanley blade to cut around the window. It doesn’t take long to install, and I’ve never done it before, it was easy enough. It provides good privacy, just like net curtains. It lets lots of light in and looks much tidier than nets. I did see some negative reviews on here about the product, but they work the same as nets, provided you understand that if the light is on inside, you will be able to see through them (the same as net curtains). Then you will be getting what you expect.

I needed privacy as I live in a bungalow and my little girls bedroom is exposed to passers by. This is a fantastic product! The film itself is thick and sturdy, very easy to apply. You cannot see through it at all and looks nice from the outside. I used a credit card to push out the air bubbles.

Really like this window film, i didnt realise the pattern would be facing the way it was so i had to leave a gap that im filling with some frosted film instead as i didnt have enough to match up the pattern. It arrived quickly and went on the window easily

I bought the mirror effect to add to the privacy as the front of my home has more foot traffic than I’m comfortable with. The film was easy to cut to size prior to application with some fine tuning when on the window. You need to basically cover the glass as much as you can with water to gain a good adhesion for the film to cling to. It’s not a sticker, so that moisture is important. The film is very forgiving and you can take it off, put it back on and repeat if needed. I initially installed this film in 2024 and 8 months later I had the glass in the windows replaced so has to take the film off and reapply to the new glass and it was so easy and straight forward. You have to be patient to get the bubbles out but once you’ve mastered the technique, it looks great from the outside, provides privacy inside and only reduces light slightly you won’t even notice. It’s very effective and the film is thick and doesn’t rip easily while installing which is great. Tools you’ll need - spray bottle with water, squeegee, scissors (for main cut down) and a craft knife (to fine tune edges when on glass)

Was dreading tussling with this, as had used a similar static-cling frosted film before, which was thin and kept sticking to itself, and was a mass of air bubbles nomatter what. However, my new rental flat has dodgy blinds and I need as close to perfect darkness as possible to sleep, so needs must. I armed myself with hot water in a spray bottle, a craft knife and a full-sized shower squeegee (this helped hugely compared to trying to use a little credit card sized thing so advise investing in one at the pound shop). I had nobody to help, but my windows aren’t huge and I managed just fine. Soaked the whole window with water first and peeled down the first few inches of the backing before positioning film on the window (shiny side goes to the window!). This film is really good and thick and stayed put well. I squeegeed down as I continued removing the backing. It was done in no time, and no bubbles! Now I did make the error of over-trimming on my first window. Because of how the double glazing unit is, light was getting in the edges. It’s better to leave larger and persuade the film to bend into the edges. As it’s super thick it takes a little coaxing. You can nick the corners with a craft knife to help. Where I had over trimmed at the bottom I just added some black electrical tape once the water had dried, and that has worked fine. I did initially take it off and re position to centralise a bit more, and again that wasn’t difficult. It’s been up a week now and shows no signs of peeling. However, having peeled off to re position I’m confident it will come off easily and leave no trace once I move out. There is no glue, just works with static. Everywhere the film is, it is totally light-proof even with bright sunshine right outside. Absolutely perfect. Suggest leaving around 1cm/1.5cm extra all round the edges compared to your window measurement, so it’s not too unmanageably large to work with, but you have some to bend into the window frame and a bit of contingency if you’re not quite centralised. A strip of black electrical tape down any edge that you mess up will complete the job. I’m so happy with results and really wish I had discovered this before in my life! Blackout curtains and blinds have always only worked so well and ‘leaked’ round the edges. This stuff is cheap and perfect!

This window film is brilliant, it looks stunning. It is easy to use, just make sure you cut the surplus off before offering to the glass. I used a steel rule and a craft knife to trim the film to fit.

Not barely enough to little window so be careful on sizing But does make window private we got it to stop dog barking at everyone walking by worked so win win and easy to fit

This remains fixed to the glass really well. We have removed and reapplied, finding it continues to adhere well. The frosting works extremely well for privacy without blocking too much light. Bubble removal is easy with a hard edged item, such as a plastic ruler, while application is straight forward, especially if you have two people (a bit more tricky with one, but still quite doable).

Acheter pour limiter l'apport de chaleur ce film fait bien le job. En revanche pour le poser proprement c'est pas facile, il est assez fragile et se rayé facilement même avec une spatule en plastique (prévue pour du covering auto).

Enfin un film qu'on arrive à placer sans qu'il ne se froisse

Sieht super aus! Lässt sich gut schneiden und anbringen. Sieht tatsächlich aus, als wäre es in das Glas eingraviert/gelasert/wie auch immer man das nennt...

El producto me llego perfecto y es de calidad. Aún así me ha costado mucho ponerlo...pero una vez pillado el truco queda bien y realiza su función.
