We got this for our daughter for Christmas. Upon opening it, we found various pieces were not included. I reached out to Abacus Brands customer service and they quickly responded to my issue. They responded that my missing parts issue was not one they regularly encountered. They sent a new box which had all parts included! The customer service I received was top notch! This science kit is great for all future scientists out there! I highly recommend!

Got this set for my kid and he loves it!

This was a great gift for my precocious 6 year old grandson. The VR glasses are great and well made. My grandson loved it. It says for 8-12 year olds. A parent definitely needs to help a 6 year old figure out how to use it. I wish they would provide a video for instructions. Read instructions before you give it to a child so you can show them if they have trouble using them. Experiments are pretty simple and safe.

Bill Nye VR kit is great! 10-yr old and dad have done a bunch of the experiments already, during quarantine home schooling. Very happy.We had a bad experience this with a VR toy from Sharper Image. Looked like a lot of fun and the VR goggles worked, but not the gun to shoot the "monsters." BIG xmas morning disappointment, so we were wary. BUT, the Bill Nye VR kit is great! Very happy.

Good and useful Product.

This kit is worth every penny. We are a family of teachers and we bought this kit to encourage our kids, ages 7 and 2, to do some hands on science with us with all of his time together during Safer at Home. We used to love to stream Bill Nye the Science Guy before disney decided to stop showing it and we were sad when it was unavailable, so we were happy to get this set of experiments for Christmas. Both kids love the experiments even though they are younger than 8. The 7 year old can grasp the concepts, but the 2 year old just loves to participate with the family. The headset has adjustable eye pieces, so it fits both kids. There are some experiments that require buying some items, but it’s totally worth it to have my 7 year old beg me to learn science all day. The VR part of this is very rewatchable: The first experiment has you fly over an erupting volcano in VR: turn around and see the helicopter!

We have 2 boys and of course love bill nye so this felt like a no brainer, I was a little worried about the vr aspect as we are trying to get away from screen time but this does a good job of pushing them to do the hands on things and build and grow experiments before letting them put the vr goggles back on and then even with that the vr stuff is short and sweet so they aren’t trapped behind the screen for long before coming back to learn another activity so we are super happy nice work bill!

The simple VR mask was a hit: so much so that we offer a word of caution: the 8-year-old boy was so absorbed in the VR experience that he ended up with mild eye strain and headache: pace your child when using the kit!

Was the perfect gift for my nephew for Christmas! The VR was so much fun for him it puts you right into the science lab!

Cute but expensive for what it is !

Great Christmas gift for the Grandchild.

This was a gift for my 10 yr old niece. She was so excited to open it. Will have to send an update on the actually product once she has opened it but as of right now I give it a 👍
