Inerzen Neck and Shoulder Hot and Cold Gel Pad Therapy Wrap for Pain, Muscle, Stress Relief - Microwavable & Freezable

So far, this has been a great addition to the products I used to help with chronic neck and shoulder pain, and the migraines that result. I keep fabric between the pad and my skin, but the cold seems to soothe and relax when my muscles become knotted. I keep it in the freezer at all times so it is ready when I need it. The shape covers nicely so I don't have to keep moving a cold (or warm) pack to cover all the painful areas so the design is a big plus. I would recommend this. In the short time I've had it, it has been very effective for me. (The one thing I couldn't find in the description was if it can tolerated being in the freezer when not in use, and other users responded to tell me it can.)

This is pretty neat but I have a few issues. The size is awkward for me, it doesn't stay on either my neck or shoulders unless I keep my hand there to hold it in place. The middle part is too long so it folds over and defeats the purpose and the sides are too short to reach my actual shoulder. It heats unevenly (my microwave is brand new and high quality so it's not the microwave) so when it's all warm FINALLY there are parts that are scalding and parts that are lukewarm. I probably wouldn't purchase another, but for the price it's ok.

I got this for my hubby. He occasionally has sore body parts that he likes to either ice or heat. Although this item is made for the neck and shoulders, the shape and size of it makes it very easy to use for other parts of the body. Since my hubby had a flare up of pain and swelling on his hand, he used this as a cold pack daily for the first few days after we received it. It actually wrapped around his entire hand quite nicely, with an acewrap -- which works so much better than a bagful of ice that starts to drip. This is a quality product that I would recommend to a friend. Thank you.

Very comforting. I am dealing with a pinched nerve in neck and appreciate that you can boil pot of water and immerse it(not too long) Use an old pot not used for cooking-blue dye does run and I do not feel comfortable using cooking pot in case leakage with this or gel packs which I also use (Kaz gel heating wrap also very nice)I especially appreciate flap for neck area. I sometimes wrap it in a thin towel if too hot,to prevent burns. I tried Shiatsu but nodules so hard-do not understand why they cannot be soft,as massagers hands. Stays in place without having to hold but should have tie option.

I suffered a neck injury at work and I have been looking for something to ice both my neck and shoulders simultaneously. I also wanted something that would stay in place while I moved about. I have a couple of the rice heat/cold packs, but they don't get as cold as the gel does. I had big hopes for thus ice pack, but I actually had better luck with traditional gel packs held in place with scarves and turtlenects. Problems: too small, I need to put my rice shoulder pack over it to hold in place and it still does not reach up to the base of my skull where I have some inflamed nerves. There are several "pockets" that are missing gel in the front that might have provided some weight to hold the pack in place. When laying on your shoulders you have to hold perfectly still or the pack will slip off and the neck portion flops down away from your neck. Disappointed.

It does not heat evenly in my microwave but I think that has to do with my microwave than anything else. It is very plasticy will need to make a fabric sleeve for it.

A nice sturdy gel pack that is a little on the small side. The material feels durable and comfortable for both heat/ cold. It does fit both shoulders but you would have to sit still in a chair for them to stay in place, if you’re going to wear over your shoulders

I should of read more about this item before I purchased it. It works fine but it is a lot smaller then I thought it was. I thought it was larger and it would go around the neck and cover both shoulders. It only covers one shoulder well. So I alternate it from one shoulder to another one.

Anyone planning to buy this product should know the following.1. It doesn’t hold the coldness for more than 5minutes.2. It is a China made poor quality product.3. After buying you cannot return this as you will be told that it’s used.4. Warranty of 1year on it is of no significance.5. Strongly recommend not to buy this it’s a waste of money, I lost mine you better save it per my exp.
