Trash
Do not buy this trash. After selling the product tbey automatically change the Return policy. My order came on Monday. I opened and smelled. It was hully trash no smeling and the color is different than the picture on amazon. Please do not spend ypur money for TRASH. The tree color should be green and light brown. And when you open the box you should smell the pine tree not the dry wood.

Not impressed. No flavor. Took time and tried may different ways to make it.
I have heard a lot about the benefits of pine needle tea, but I had also heard you have to be really careful trying to create your own because some needles aren't good for you, so when I found this product already made I was excited to try it. I like my tea strong, so I usually steep it extra long. The first time I tried it I exactly followed what I believe were the product directions on the product page. I placed the recommended amount of needles in a tea ball, boiled my water, and added it to the cup with the tea ball, covering it as directed, and steeped it for at least 10 minutes, then swished the ball around before removing it. Other than the water having a slight earthy smell, and a slight reaction on my tongue I didn't taste anything (yes, I can taste and smell other things!). The second time I broke all the needles in half and packed more into the tea ball thinking there would be more surface area, so stronger, and steeped for 15 minutes. Same result. On the third attempt, seeing where this appeared to be going, I put a large "pinch" of the needles (probably 4x recommended amount) in the bottom of a cup by themselves, added water to the cup, covered it and brought it to a good boil in the microwave (appx 6 mins), and then, leaving it covered, I let it sit another 20 minutes, and then finally filtered it through a "handi wipe" into another cup. Same exact outcome. I'm not sure how pine needles are supposed to give up the good stuff to make tea, but the ones I got do not. It's basically like sipping earthy smelling hot water that is maybe just a tad bitter on the tongue. That said, you do get a decent-sized pouch that one would think should make a lot of tea, sealed in a heavier-weight zip-lock bag that would make storing and keeping it "fresh" much easier. I would estimate the needles are approx an inch long, thinner than the pine needles we typically have in WI, and an even dark brown color. If anything after steeping them they are a bit darker, presumably due to being wet vs dry.I have looked at other reviews of this product, and a number of other folks state that the taste is too strong, and they preferred to mix it with something else after making it, or overall the taste was not to their liking in some other way, but I have no idea how they got it that strong. I will say, from my college biology/anatomy classes that there is a very real thing out there where soaps/perfumes smell wonderful to some people and are totally offensive to others, and the same goes for different foods - some things taste great to people and taste horrible to others. I don't taste anything here, so maybe that is just me - your mileage may vary!

pretty decent pine needle tea
DISCLAIMER: This review is solely based on my personal experience/usage of the product. Yours might be different. This pine needle tea is pretty decent. But one should not expect to use it as your normal tea leaves. This is used mostly for its medicinal quality than flavor. Pine needle tea is used in Asia for its detoxifying benefits. It also provides other benefits such as lowering blood pressure.METHOD: The method of brewing is different from your normal tea leaves. This bag comes in whole long needles so you will need to use a pair of scissors or knife to cut them into shorter sections, then cook them in boiling water for around 10-15 minutes. If you simply put them in hot water and expect the flavor to come out like green tea leaves, you are going to get disappointed. Pine needles are very strong and simply brewing in hot water is not enough.FLAVOR: The flavor of pine needle tea, if you tried herbal medicine before, that's about the flavor of it. Of course, you get a mild forest fragrance from it as well. The only thing I am disappointed at is the amount you are getting is quite small for the price you pay.

Tea tastes vaguely like pine cleaner
I was seriously not impressed. It just had an OLD vibe about it, both looks and taste. Like it had been on backroom shelf for 20 year. I steeped a pot of it and all I can say it was bit like drinking diluted pine cleaner. Pretty color tea, but other than that, nope.I will say I probably do prefer fir needle tea over any pine needle tea.
